What’s your game day traditions?
Here’s my husband’s famous sweet chili recipe perfect for Game Day!
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 18 oz. tomato paste
- 16 oz stewed tomatoes
- 2 spicy chili beans
- 2 dark red kidney beans
- 2 bush’s baked beans, original
- 2 pounds ground beef
- garlic powder to taste
- chili powder to taste
- Saute peppers and onions
- Add ground beef and brown, adding salt and pepper, garlic powder and chili powder.
- The add canned items.
- Sometime we add more or less of the beans and tomatoes. We usually go by taste.
- Let simmer all day.
