Valentine Doodles

Last year I attended middle school art class. I work at a k-8 school and had to take a few students to art. Everyday the teacher had students draw a doodle. She would take ideas from WhatchamaDRAWit Game. I was inspired to start doodling.

I searched Pinterest and YouTube channels and found some fun doodles from both. I’ll attach a few favorites from Pinterest at the bottom of this post. I picked some fun Valentine’s Day Doodles since it’s February. I am also attaching some of my own doodles. Don’t judge! I have never been good at drawing or art but with practice…

I also like to add doodles to my chalkboard wall in the kitchen.

I found Doodles by Sarah on YouTube and subscribed to her channel. I really enjoy her videos. They inspire me to doodle more! Here is a video from last year, Valentine Doodles.

  1. You sound like me! I remember my days at school when my daughter was younger. I’m also terrible at drawing, but it was fun and I would do it all over again. You did very well!!

  2. These are really pretty! I love the style of them. I used to get lost in doodles as a kid.

  3. I like that you added some doodle links to your post. Worse case scenario, I could trace them!

  4. My oldest is a huge doodler and it tends to give her a brain break during a long school day. I plan to share this channel with her!

  5. I think you did great with your doodles. I used to doodle in school a lot. So much so, my World History teacher wasn’t pleased when I returned my book at the end of the year. Ooops!

  6. These are so pretty! I am not good at doodling, but my SIL is….can’t wait to show it to her!

  7. One of our daughters loves to draw and doodle, some of her homework and classwork gets interesting. If she has too much extra time there’s lot’s of doodling on it.

  8. I have to keep my hands busy, so doodling is a big help for me. I loved the video you shared! Very inspirational to get new ideas.

  9. I used to do this a lot when I was a young girl. It kept me awake during the most boring subject in school. I was more of a triangle doodler. I might try and get a sketch pad and hopefully, my doodling hands would still work.
