Go Back To A Job You’ll Enjoy

This is a really important one we feel. If you’re going into a job that you can’t really even enjoy, then it’s going to be so hard to go back to a job at all. We really think you need to think about roles that are going to keep you engaged, and ones that you will actually enjoy. For example, you could look into advanced online colleges for social work, which would be online, and would put you on a path to a totally different career to what you’re in now. Now that will apply to most of you, some of you might be in a similar career, yet really not enjoying it. If this is so, think about careers that really do interest you, and see if there are any online courses that you could take that would push you towards them. Or, think about something you’re passionate about, and perhaps start thinking about whether you can start your own mini business.

Think About Easing Yourself Into It

This is the really important one in our mind. You can’t just go back to full time work, and expect your life just to slot right back into place again. You’re going to have to ease yourself into it with some part time work first. Then, you can think about going to nearly full time, and eventually work your way up. The smaller hours you do to begin with, the easier it’ll be to slowly up and up them!

Make Sure You’re Giving Yourself A Life

Again, another essential. You have to make sure that somewhere around all of this working and being a good family, that you’re taking some time to actually give yourself a life. Whether this life be going to the gym and winding down, or out for friends with a drink, it’s just so important that you are giving yourself a life!

Or, think about something you’re passionate about, and perhaps start thinking about whether you can start your own mini business. If you want to launch a new business and and have an educational skill set, you should look into starting a daycare or even a microschool. Daycares are pretty self explanitory, but microschools may be a new concept to you. What are microschools? The easiest explaination is a one room school house. You will be running a school with different age children, not just one class of a specific age. Many parents having been doing this already during the pandemic and didn’t really think about it being a business. COVID doesn’t seem to be going anywhere so this is the perfect time to launch a microschool business.
