No Longer for Rent

For years I used to let my husband’s ex rent space in my head. Years!! Lots of space!! I finally took it back and wow it felt so good not to think about her anymore. I read somewhere that all the negative feelings that I felt and all the anger never bothered her, so why should I let it bother me? That’s easier said than done, but over a few months of talking to her, in my head, and letting it go, I was free. I may have even written a letter.

Now I have a co-worker, who doesn’t know how to mind his own business, renting space. I might hash it out with him tomorrow or get the rest off us to all hash it out. See it’s not just me. He meddles in every one’s business! Hash it out or not – I’m tired of him renting space in my head – so move on dude!!

  1. Good for you! That's awesome, getting your mind back a piece at a time. I really need to do this with a couple of people. It's got to be a wonderful feeling to get to a place of letting go. Good luck with the co-worker.

  2. That's funny, that's a great way of looking at it! It's funny how we let things bother us and keep us up at night, and the other person is leeping peacefully!! Good for you, hope your co-worker won't rent that space too long, LOL! http://www.happychaoticfamily.com

Good for you! That's a great way of talking to her – She'd never have the chance to say something that would then require more talking! πŸ™‚
