We took down Savannah’s crib…

Well, we finally took down Savannah’s crib and bassinet. I know the bassinet hasn’t been used in a while, well it has if you count me putting my clothes on it. Anyway, Savannah has been sleeping with me since an infant and still does. We’ve adopted the co sleeping method when Hunter was a baby. Well I guess I did. My husband has a bad back and is more comfortable on the couch, so it’s me and the baby. Hunter finally moved into his room right before Savannah was born, but usually ends up in my bed.

Even though the crib wasn’t being used, it’s still sad to see it go.

Does anyone else co sleep?

  1. We coslept here from birth to 5 years (my little man is 8 now)…I miss it sometimes…but I do remember wishing it would end so I could have *my* bed back lol.

  2. When my son was a baby, he had terrible colic, and sometimes, when he was really miserable, I would get him calmed down, wrap his little blanket around him nice and snug, and lay him beside me in the bed. I could feel his little body instantly relax, and he would fall asleep. My hubby said that it probably was the warmth of my body that relaxed him. Whatever the reason, it saved my sanity! 🙂
