Green Living Tip – Use What You Have!

I had to ship out a prize a few weeks ago and had no box. I was looking around and came up with an idea. I took an old cereal box and opened it up all the way. I basically turned the box inside out.

Then I just taped it back up and viola! A box I can use to ship in.

I was so excited!

Have you reused anything lately?

That’s a great idea- especially with the theme of your blog! My big reuse item lately is the pickle jar for cooking grease. I’ve done that for years, though, so I don’t think it counts.

    Have a great weekend!

Well at least your still re-using them!

      • Karen says:

Definitely. I wouldn’t know what else to do with my grease. If there is one thing my dad taught me in the kitchen, it was to never put grease down the drain. I’ve never had to call a plumber for the kitchen yet, so I must be doing pretty well! ;-0)

  2. Now that is pretty creative!!

I re-use ribbons from presents as hair accessories. For clarity, I only use the silk kind. I don’t want you thinking that I’m around here lookinglike a Christmas tree!
