So Excited to Get a New TV Stand!! (well, maybe)

I convinced my hubby to get rid of this giant entertainment center!! I’m so excited. I’ve not liked it since the day he bought it 8 years ago. It’s too big and takes up a ton of room.

Now, I will say it does store a lot of stuff, but it’s mostly just stuff that we need to get rid of! Does anyone keep cds in their cases anymore? We took CDs out of the cases and placed them in a book, but still have all these cases. Really? Same thing with the DVDs.

I placed the whole thing TV and all on Craigs List. My hubby thought we could get like $2000 for it (we paid $4000), but I told him, why would anyone apy that much for this huge thing when they could get a flat screen for under $1000. He called a TV repairman we know, and he told us we would be lucky to get $500 for it all.

I’m kinda bummed, but am looking froward to getting rid of this monstrousidty.

I do get to go shopping though! We want to get a flat screen that, I hope, will go on the wall. I will need some type of TV stands to go under for the Blue Ray and digital box, though.

Maybe a nice corner TV stand that will sit kinda out of the way. We’ll see, first I need to sell my giant one.

Aghh!! We had ours listed on Craig’s LIst and had someone come over and said they would take our giant TV, then never showed the next day! Oh well, I cleaned it out for the next buyer
