Getting Ready for Fall Flowers

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Fall is coming and I’m so excited that we live several hours north! I’m looking forward to more color and cooler weather. When we moved in, I picked a dozen or so annuals in pretty spring colors to decorate our lawn. Now

I’m ready to Find beauty in the Fall and go get some nice fall colors. I’m looking to get some orange, yellow and maybe some red annuals to accent. I just pilled a few of those out last night to make way for new plants!!

A good way to keep your flowers looking fresh is with Miracle-Gro. Just because it’s fall and winter is no reason to let your gardens go. You can always plant in containers too.

When I head to our local home improvement store I will need to get Miracle Gro Garden Soil for Flowers & Vegetables. It’s specially formulated for annuals, perennials, and vegetables. This will keep my fall flowers nice throughout the season. It builds up the existing soil to build strong roots and to get fed up to 3 months I will use Miracle-Gro Continuous Release Plant Food. For my daughter that loves to water the flowers, we will also get Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed. It makes feeding just as easy as watering!

  1. Beautiful flowers. I love Miracle Gro, it’s what makes my vegetable garden so great!

  2. My green thumb leans more to a shade of grayish green, during the summer my plants do well…and then they die! Soggy and cold weather I guess. I will give Miracle Gro a try, I really want my plants to make it through winter this time!

  5. Oh my, I need THESE flowers in my yard. I love miracle grow. Back in the day in college I adopted a “dead” vine plant that was being thrown out. It was brown and really dead looking. I watered it daily with a very diluted miracle grow solution (since really, once a week or so is enough) and it was really like watching a miracle. Within a couple of months, it literally had overtaken my dorm room stretching to the door. It was the most beautiful plant, but I gave it to my sister who successfully killed it dead in a month. I am sold on Miracle Grow!
