Summer is here and I need things to do that will entertain my kids and not break the bank! Kids Bowl Free is the answer!
Kids Bowl Free is located in 950+ locations in 46 states – plus Canada – and all offer any registered child two free games every day, all summer long (find the locations here: http://www.kidsbowlfree.com/all_centers.php). What a great deal!
This will be the third year that we’ve signed up and the second year that I signed up for the Family Pass as well. Every week they will send you that week’s coupons. Just print out and take to your local center. The Family Pass is additional but you get to add up to 4 adults to it. It costs $24.95. Shoe rentals are separate.
What I do is get a few neighbors and sign up the adults and kids and then we make special play dates to go bowling. It’s always a fun day for everyone!! It’s a great idea for those rainy days when the kids can’t go outside and play.

We are not but I don’t think our local bowling alley is a participant. I have been considering taking the children bowling though as none of them have ever been.
I haven’t been bowling for awhile (I’m terrible at it), but it sounds like something I should do with my son sometime soon. He’d probably love it. 🙂
We always enjoyed bowling when our daughter was little – it was a favorite birthday party choice too. Sadly she’s too old to take advantage of the “free” now, even though she’ll always be my ‘kid’ 😉

My kids love bowling and it makes for a great escape from the brutal summer heat. I will be looking for participating locations in our area.
