We went to Lion Country Safari on Sunday, but got rained out. Lion Country Safari is a park with a drive through safari. It’s minutes from our house, but we packed a picnic lunch and waters and headed out while it was still sunny. In the middle of the safari ride, it started to rain, but we still enjoyed looking at the animals. Here are a couple of pictures of the ostrich and the new baby rhino”Jazi”, born in December of 2008. Isn’t she cute? Anyway we did have to head home after the safari, it was raining too much to get out and walk around, but we will be back. A few months ago we bought season passes. So we can go as often as we want!! Sometimes I just take the kids through the safari for about 45 minutes and head home. Great deal!!
