My baby will be nine tomorrow, October 2nd.
When I found out I was pregnant, I wanted a girl. I married a man who had custody of three little boys. So I was quite out numbered and I wanted a girl, NO MORE BOYS!
When I was told “it’s a boy”, I was upset for about a minute. Then I just wanted him to be healthy, forget the girl thing. I had a great pregnancy, aside from being borderline gestational diabetic. I never had any nausea or any big problems. I loved the getting big part, the clothes, everything. I was so excited to have “my own” little boy.
See, all I ever wanted, was to be a mom.
Well, Hunter came into this world at 11:50pm on October 2, 2000. A bald little baby, beautiful blue eyes. He quickly turned into the fattest little baby I’ve seen. (well not really, but close, good nummies 🙂
He’s always loved everything and anything to do with a ball and still does. He has his first baseball game of the season on Saturday and he’ll be third baseman and pitcher. He’s a little sensitive – he gets that from me and a little goofy and starting to turn into that preteen monster that his brothers were at that age. But he’s my little boy and always will be.
I just wish I could hold time a little while longer, they grow so fast.
Oh they do grow up way to fast. Hug him close while you can. 🙂

Happy belated birthday to your boy!
I remember wanting a girl sooooooo bad…and when they said "it's a boy" (at my ultrasound) I was devestated…but that only lasted a minute…and then I loved the idea of it. Now I wouldn't have it any other way!
