You know when you go to an amusement park or even the local fair and you’re worried about losing your kids? I know I am. I think one time I put a business card in my son’s shoe, but what about a temporary tattoo with your telephone number on it? What a great idea!
The idea for Safety Tat temporary tattoos came from a mom who took her three boys to an amusement park and kept writing her telephone number on their arms. But she had to rewrite the number several times that day. Several parents in the park stopped her to ask if that was her number on the kids’ arms. Each time, they loved the idea. The day was a success and the idea for Safety Tat temporary child id tattoos was born.
oh I so wish i had thought of that! LOL
I was so excited to be able to review a set of Safety Tats! I picked out the purple butterfly one above, since Savannah’s favorite color is purple. It works just like a regular temporary tattoo. Just apply with water and they usually last 1-5 days, but Safety Tats recommends applying a new one every day. You can order them blank and write your number on yourself or order them printed with 1-2 lines of information.
There are many designs to choose from, ones for boys or girls or even a multi pack. They also have hip and cool tattoos, like the one above, for the older kids. You can design your own with the TatBuilder, by changing colors and pictures. Or you can send them your own artwork or image – that’s so cool, especially if you have a child that’s artistic, he or she can create their own.
I would definitely recommend these! I’m going to buy some boy tattoos for my son. I’ll post the picture of Savannah’s later today.
Safety Tats also offers Allergy Tats and Tat Kisses.
Safety Tats would like to offer one Mommy Has to Work reader a pack of their Quick Stick Write-On tattoos, your choice of Boy, Girl, or Multi.

I like that they make the point that with older kids, while they may know YOUR cell number, they probably don't know the number of the adult in charge when they're on a field trip or with friends, so it's useful even for tweens…cool!

i love safety tats. i have the original safetytat in flower design. my girls just think they're great.
I love Safety Tat! There's a great story behind this as well. They had gone on a trip and "lost" their child temporariliy. Good solid company too.
I like the Safety tips, especially Bring a Family Photo.

I love that you can build your own tat. Also I just love the idea of it period. My kid likes to take off on his own and I'm always worried we are going to lose him. 🙁

I learned that you can create your own tattoo design and that you can also get one for allergies.
