Don’t Fret The Sweat – Unilever Review

Unilever and Mom Central have teamed up to spread the word about the importance of keeping your child’s confidence up during the transition into the teenage years. My son just turned 10 (Saturday in fact) but I bought him his first deodorant last year. Wow, did he need it! After school and homework he’s outside playing and playing hard. And man, did he stink! I bought an all natural one with no aluminum. He doesn’t always remember to use it. Dad and I are constantly reminding him.
Recently, Unilever released the Tween Confidence Index, which suggests that tween confidence is short-lived but can be safe-guarded by maintaining strong communication between tweens and parents. Check out the website DontFretTheSweat.com, where Unilever hopes to show parents that they can talk to their tweens about how the right deodorant can keep them free from odor, embarrassment and discomfort along the way. There is some great information available, expert advice and even coupons.
Your child is going through changes and, whether or not you’re ready, their body is trying to tell you something. Increased hormones are causing noticeable differences now, like growth spurts and strange new odors. But don’t let the unexpected stink scare you; it’s just a sign of great things to come.

To better understand all the physical and emotional changes your child is facing, we’ve assembled an amazing team of professionals. As mothers, leaders and writers, these experts are here to offer advice and help you get a handle on the mysterious world of tweens. It’s important to know that fostering their self-reliance now, will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

We received Degree for Men for my son to try out. I think he remembers this one more because it’s more like the one his dad uses. So far so good, no stinky boys.

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Unilever and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central will send me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
