As promised – Savannah’s pinata!
Instead of cut up newspaper, we used used Christmas paper. I wanted to be able to recycle it.
Mix flour and water – It’s 2 parts water, 1 part flour, but I kinda guessed.
Before adding the second layer you must wrap a ribbon around it and tie, then add second layer.
Cutting used tissue paper for the final layer.
Some of the tissue paper had glitter in it, it added lots of sparkle to the final product.
Oh my gosh how cute is that! It does look like an egg. I bet Savannah loved every minute of putting it together just as much as breaking it apart. Thanks for sharing the instructions.
That looks like so much fun!
Beautiful! I can't wait to try this. I just wondered how you fill it?
Sorry,
I gave detailed instructions on a previous post. when adding layers of paper, you will need to leave the end with the balloon knot free of paper, then after the second layer is dry, you willcut the balloon. This is where you will add the candy and then taper and add the final layer. Hope that helps.
The pinata reminds me of a colorful Eater egg.
It's so pretty I'd hate to tear it apart.
Have a wonderful week!!
I am following you from Monday hops. Hope you can stop by, follow, and become a loyal reader.
