Goodwill Finds

We went to Goodwill looking for some baseball pants for practices. Hunter signed up again this season. When we walked in I saw a sign for all children’s clothes $.99. So I looked around and found a ton of clothes! Look at this Lilly Pulitzer dress for Savannah. ( I can’t get the picture to turn around, sorry) $.99!

I love this jean jacket. It’s a little too big, but I couldn’t pass it up.

And YES – I found a pair a brand new baseball pants for Hunter!

Poor Hunter wanted a jersey. When he saw this one, he said “I really don’t like the Hurricanes.” But after no luck for any others he went back and got this one. I wonder if he would have gone back for a Gators jersey.

  1. When I lived in Dallas and Houston, I would read newspaper articles about the designer and high-dollar items wealthy families would donate to Goodwill stores. However, whenever I went to the Goodwill stores, I saw a mixture of more "middle class" stuff! When I myself give items to Goodwill, they are in the new to usable range–and probably not designer or high-dollar! 🙂

  2. wow you did really well! The clothes are in perfect condition! Really good idea!

  3. Visiting you from lovemymrmason.blogspot.com — I found your blog through the Friday blog hop at Thank's Mail Carrier and am now following you on GFC — Love the little Lilly dress, it makes me want (even more than I already do) a baby so I can find great finds for him/her like this.

  4. Wow, you scored! I sooo wish we had a Goodwill in the area where I live so I could shop, shop, shop there.
