Making Silly Faces – Children’s Music CD

I love finding new music. We are a music family and we all love to sing and dance along to all kinds of music. Music is also nice to listen to during my daughter and I’s 30 minute commute to school/work.

I had the opportunity to review Nick Deysher’s newest CD – Making Silly Faces. It sounded fun!

Savannah and I listened to it in the car and hears what we thought:

#1 – The Sun Is Up – Cute song, I had to hit the repeat button for Savannah. I know it’s a good song when she asks to hear it again!

#2 – Making Silly Faces – Jazzy, hip-hop kinda song. Very Cute.

#3 – Dancing Pants – dancing pants? lol – a 70’s Disco song

#7 – In The Nick of Time – 80’s music – good singing song

#8  – I Tried it, I Liked It! – Cute way to get kids to try new things/foods.

#10 – Slumber Party – Sounds like a lady gaga song – very fun song. I had to repeat this one twice! I could see myself as a a young girl listening to this at one of my slumber parties!

#11 – It’s Easy Being Green – Eco Song – very cool messages, but short.

Over all we liked this CD. It had lots of fun, happy songs, all with great messages to kids and parents. I listen to kids music and sometimes wonder “oh I could say that or do this different”.

Nick Deysher has released four previous In The Nick of Time albums, One Man Band (2001), In The Nick of Time (2003), Coconut Groove (2007), and the Parents’ Choice® Gold Award winning People, Places & Things (2009).  Nick lives in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood with his wife, Tracey (who sings on his albums), and dog, Lucy (who barks on his albums).

I received the CD to facilitate this review, all opinions are my own.
