This is what our ceiling has looked like for 3 years!! A “friend” came and gave us a quote to remove our popcorn ceiling and asked for 1/2 deposit ($450). He came and did this and never came back.
My husband was diagnosed with MS a few months later and we never had the money to repair it.
Until now….
We finally got it repaired and painted!! That was a big ordeal too, though. The guy who removes the popcorn, does not paint the ceiling. We thought he did. Then we had to wait about a week in limbo until the painter came. We did use “green” paint though! Yeah!
Ugghh!! I’m so glad that’s over. But… we are painting our walls and this painter hasn’t returned our calls. So… on to another mess!
Life is a roller coaster!!
looks good!
How exciting! It looks great.
Isn’t it great when you get those things done?
Glad you finally got around to finishing it. It looks great.
It looks great! We just moved into our ‘older’ farmhouse and I have a lot of updating to do!
So glad you finally got that fixed. Looks great.
Hooray for it being finished & how pricey to remove the popcorn. I remember back in the day when that’s all every home had.
I can’t imagine being stuck in limbo like that so long! It does look great now though.
It looks great! Our ceilings are strange, about half are popcorn and half are plaster swirled into designs and patterns. The popcorn is ugly though.
Well your ceiling looks fantastic now!! Hopefully that painter guy will start answering his phone so you can get that done too!
Oh and your gift guide is too cute! Love it!
We have that 70’s popcorn throughout our house but did manage to get rid of it in the main bath. I guess I should say the humidity from the shower started the process and our nephew came and finished it for us when he painted.
I’m sorry someone left you in the lurch like that! But it looks great now 🙂
Wow, sorry for all that drama, that’s horrible! However, it looks great!
It looks good!
It looks great! I can’t wait to get rid of our popcorn ceilings!
