We were able to see Real Steel on Thursday as a sneak peak. I decided to take the whole family, knowing that Savannah might now enjoy this movie. Savannah is three years old.

Honestly, I had never heard of the movie, never seen the preview on TV, but it sounded like a guy/boy movie and thought my husband and son would enjoy it.

We made a night of it and went to dinner first. Since the movie started at 7:30pm on a school night I knew the kids would get to bed way past their bed time. But since we don’t this too often, I let it slide.

Okay on to the movie already!!

Real Steel is basically about a man who can’t keep his life together. He meets his eleven year old son for the first time and they spend the summer together. I don’t want to give too much away.

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time! The acting was great, the music was awesome and the boxing robots? – COOL!!

It was one of those movies that you tense up in your seat. You stomp your feet on the ground and think – come on! You cheer and clap at the end!

My husband and son thought it was an awesome movie and one of the best. My daughter did not like some of mild robot violence, however she sat still through out the entire movie, except one potty beak.

I would recommend this movie to all – young and old. We will definitely see this again and again!!
