Stand Up for Family

Looking for great comedy for the whole family about family? Check out Stand Up For Family.

American Family Insurance has put together some great comics who talk about what life was like growing up for them and how it’s different now. I laughed so hard!

My favorite video is Bill Billamy – Respect. Oh my – he’s so funny. He talks about how when he was growing up, he couldn’t speak to his momma, unless spoken too. Just the way he tells it – hilarious!

I remember growing up we could go outside and play and play. We were able to walk around the neighborhood and explore. Nowadays us parents barely let our kids out of sight! Hunter’s eleven and is just now riding his bike around the neighborhood, but only if he has his cell phone. I was five walking around my neighborhood.  I wouldn’t dream of letting my daughter wondering around outside without me. But my momma did. It’s amazing how much changes over the years.

I love that this is family friendly. Hunter loves to watch comedy and this is something we can all watch together.

Check out the videos from AmFam.  You’ll love it!!

  1. Those guys are just to funny, the good old days when we could just play outside and not worry!

  2. I’m not sure why it used to be ok, but there is NO WAY my son can go out on his own until he’s quite a bit older.

  3. Things are much different today than they were when I was growing up, and my mom still hardly let us out of her sight. True story! lol.

  4. It was the same way for us. I spent the day running around the whole neighborhood.

  5. Sadly times have changed so much.
