Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life – Movie Review/Giveaway

We had the opportunity to watch a great kids movie last night – Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life. I had my son preview the trailer and asked him if he was interested in getting it. He said sure, it looks good.

So…. Hunter and watched it and we were both pleasantly surprised. It was a great movie. Not your typical kid movie, this movie had “meaning” and “messages”. It had of the corny kid stuff too and we laughed at several parts, but it some thoughtful moments too.

Jeremy is 12 years old and his 13th birthday is coming up soon. His father left him a mysterious box to be given to him on his 13th birthday, but it’s locked and the keys are no where to be found. Jeremy and his best friend Lizzy went on many adventures trying to find the keys.

As soon as the movie was over, Hunter said, “That was and awesome movie! I want to watch it again!”

If you have children 8-14 this would be a great movie to rent or buy. I’m not sure if Savannah, age four, would like it. She fell asleep, poor baby.

Starring Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino and Emmy Award winner Joe Pantoliano. This movie is rated PG.

  1. Sounds and looks like a cute movie, I am a sucker for good old fashion movies or just younger generation, I have been caught many of times watching escape from witch mountain and Bring It On all by myself LOL

  2. I didn’t know sweet movies like this still came out. I am personally glad to see that since there seems to be so many inappropriate movies for this age group any more.

  3. I’d like to win to watch it with my family.
