My children are complete opposites when it comes to going to the dentist. My 11 year old son hates it and still cries if he has to get anything done. My 4 year old daughter just does what she has to do. It’s amazing how different they are!
I didn’t realize so many children suffer from tooth decay. In this day and age I would think that is one problem we would not have. But according to The National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, millions of children are suffering in such pain, they are unable to eat, sleep or learn.
The National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) has made the Tooth Fairy into a superhero! They are providing comprehensive oral health care for under served children through the program NOCOHF: American Tooth Fairy. They are providing preventive, restorative and educational oral health services to more than 600,000 children each year.
So what can you do to help? Sign up for the America’s Toothfairy Kids Club! Kids Club members will receive personalized letters from the Tooth Fairy herself, as well as quarterly fun, educational activities! Donations are not required to participate in the Kids Club, but a minimum of $10 donation would really help all those kids.
