I am sorry to say I do not have the greenest thumb on the block. Not even close. I always buy flowers that are hardy and do not need a lot of lovin’.

But my daughter loves to try and grow flowers so we keep at it. One thing that helps a lot is Miracle-Gro. Miracle-Gro has fun and easy projects for you to try cleverly called The Gro Project. The Gro Project showcases that garden projects should not be complicated and hard to do! Miracle-Gro wants to make gardening simple and fun for a whole new class of gardeners.

I wanted to make something fun and cute and perfect for summer. I started looking around the house and garage because I would rather reuse something I already have then buy it. I found these really cute rain boots that no longer fit my children.

Not sure why they were not in my recent yard sale. Anyway… I took one of the boots and added a lovely yellow flower to it. Perfect contrast. It was that simple and it looks perfect out front on my bench!
