When I was thinking of things to do this summer with my children, crafts was most defiantly on my list. My daughter is five now and is ready to do more crafts. I was excited when Jo-Ann’s asked me to participate in a craft campaign. They sent me a list a gift card and a list of 72 crafts featured in their Spring catalog.
I had my daughter help look through all the crafts and we settled on the embellished flip flops. I’ve also been wanting to make a flip flop wreath I had seen on Pinterest. So we headed out to the store and bought enough flip flops to do the wreath and a pair each. Savannah originally wanted to do a black ribbon flip flop, but then she saw the cute red roses and wanted black flip flops with red roses.
I picked some bright pink flip flops and pink flowers.

These were super easy to make. I just hot glued the flowers onto the flip flops. Too easy!
The wreath was a little harder but mot too much. I used 10 larger flip flops and 5 smaller ones. I rearranged them a few times but ended up with 6 larger ones on the bottom, then 4 larger ones on top of those in the middle. After I laid the 5 smaller ones on top. I hot glued everything together. I realized that it was a bit flimsy so I hot glued the center on a small paper plate. Then I added the flowers, again using hot glue. My daughter helped arrange and pick out the items but mommy had to put it all together with the glue.
