Family moments can happen at any time, anywhere, anyplace. I love to spend time with my family and I’m so glad I have the opportunity to do more things with them. This past summer I tried to create some fun memories for the children. Bowling, movies and the water park. But one thing that stands out is getting ready for school. My son was not too happy but my daughter was very excited. It’s fun to go shopping and pick out their school supplies. They also needed to back into a routine. The Friday before school started I woke the kids up early and we all got dressed and went out to breakfast. It was kind of like a trial run for the following week. The children got to choose whatever they wanted. The food was not that great but the kids had a great time and we all really enjoyed our family time together.

A few years ago we decided that we would have dinner every night together at the table, no TV. We can enjoy each other without distractions and talk and just be a family. Welch’s believes in this too! Welchs just launched a new movement called “Share What’’s Good.™” It’’s all about sharing those special moments that occur each day with family, friends and loved ones – whether it’s at home or on the go. Whenever I bake I always like to take some of those cookies or cheesecake to my neighbors to make them smile.
