Did you know it’s been 71 years since Wonder Woman came out? Not the TV series but into comic books. The TV series started 38 years ago and ran for four years. I remember watching that as a child. Wonder Woman was depicted as a heroine fighting for justice, love, peace, and sexual equality. Wonder Woman is a warrior princess of the Amazons (based on the Amazons of Greek mythology) and is known in her homeland as Princess Diana of Themyscira. (from Wikipedia)
Little girls today still want to be Wonder Woman! They have no idea who Linda Carter is or what the show was like but a cool costume and a great name, why not?
When asked to review a costume from Anytime Costumes that is what my five year old daughter picked – Wonder Woman. It’s a great costume as it’s a dress with a belt. Also included was a bandana, arm sleeves and boot coverings. The cape is sewn into the dress so that will stay on. I love how easy the costume is to put on and she did not complain that it was itchy. The short sleeves are great for Florida Halloween’s as it’s still warm here. She’s love her new costume and can’t wait to wear it for Halloween.
She’s such a poser….
My daughter can dress up for a parade at school. They would like the characters to be story book characters. This counts, right? Comic books?
Comics totally count as story books and Wonder Woman is a good female role model. She’s tough and can take care of herself while helping others.
I have always admired Wonder Woman. What a cute costume!
She’s the cutest Wonder Woman I’ve ever seen! Confession: I’ve always wanted to dress up like Wonder Woman, but never have. And, I just bought me a Wonder Woman T-Shirt from Old Navy. 😀
My friend across the street is always calling me Wonder Woman. She recently got me a cup with the logo on it. Such a cute costume!!
Too cute! I hope my daughter would love this when she gets a little older.
Wonder Woman!! I love it. And she makes a great Wonder Woman…so cute!!
Check out the little diva! I love the costume on her, but love the confidence she has while wearing it the most! Too cute!
Oh my gosh – I love it! I always loved Wonder Woman as a kid, her and the Bionic Woman 🙂
OMG look at her! So adorable!! You should get a wonder woman costume to match LOL!
I think that counts for the parade at school, yes! Oh geez, I watched Linda Carter when she starred in that show. Her costume looked a lot more girdle-like though. lol
Cute! That’s a good costume for a little girl that’s NOT a Disney princess lol.
That is so cute, she is going to look fabulous on Halloween.
Very cute! I love wonderwoman and would love to be her one time for Halloween.
That costume is just too cute! I love how your daughter is posing 🙂
HOW CUTE!!! So fun and Love the whole look of the costume!
