I have been busy, busy, busy!
In August I signed up to sell Tupperware. My mother-in-law talked me into it. I wasn’t sure how it would go, but there are so many people I meet that want to buy it or they didn’t know anyone that sold it. So I’ve been busy going to events and setting up my tables.
This past Thursday the event was a ladies fashion show and the club house was right on the water!
I have also started a charity group that I hope to make official in a few months. Official meaning signing all those papers for a 501c3. It’s lot of work, so I’m taking it slow to see how it goes. We had our first event this past Saturday. We did a food drive for a local homeless shelter. We brought in 4 shopping carts of food($500) and over $200 in cash donations. Not bad for our first event and only 3 days to do it in! We had two locations set up on Saturday.
We have another event this coming Saturday were we will be having a raffle of donated services/items from local vendors. ThenΒ a bake sale in early December.
Plus more Tupperware events coming up and the holidays and school events and everything else! π
I love all that I am doing but at times feel overwhelmed.
What have you been up to lately?
Wow, you have a lot going on! How are the Tupperware sales going?
Slow but steady. I’m focusing on events right now and not parties.
Wow, you really *have* been busy! I keep wishing I had more time to take on a side business or do some charitable work, because I feel so busy. And then I remind myself how much time I spend watching TV each night. I need to get moving!
That sounds amazing. Good luck on the charity event and Tupperware sales.
Whoa you sure have been busy! These days I feel like Nancy Drew π I’ve been sleuthing on trying to find products and services to update our home but I want quality and a good price – not so easy to find!
You weren’t kidding about being busy. But, it sounds like you are enjoying yourself… and helping others in the process. You can’t beat that!
I think you are right about Tupperware – everyone knows what it is, but nobody knows where to buy it anymore.
I’m working with our Student Council kids to make food baskets for Thanksgiving and the Salvation Army to fill stockings and it really does make you feel good to help, doesn’t it?
Honestly, I didn’t even know anyone sold Tupperware anymore. I had a party for a friend selling it years ago. π
You’ve been busy! Good luck with the charity event and I hope you have lots of Tupperware sales.
Thank you
Anne, you’re doing such a good thing with this charity work! How you manage to stay on top of it all is beyond me though. I can barely handle a blog!
I’m struggling to it all for sure!! Might be why I have quite a few guest posts!!
I have been very busy too

Congrats on starting a charity that is awesome! I can see how much work it could be, but so rewarding in the end i am sure!!
