I'm a mother of 2 who likes to get involved in too much! Besides writing here I started a non-profit, I'm on the PTO board, very active in my community and volunteer in the school. I enjoy music, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my family. We just adopted our 3rd cat and love them all!

Listerine Challenge Completed!! #Listerine

My kids and I took the 21 day Listerine Challenge and it was awesome!! We all received new toothbrushes, floss and mouthwash. The kids loved their Barbie and Phinas and Ferb Smart Rinse. They have been a regular user of this for a while now. The Smart Rinse is a fluoride rinse that strengthens teeth 99% better than brushing alone.

We brush only in the morning and brush, floss and rinse at night. I wanted to start out slow and make it fun. My daughter and I do it together, so she can see that I take care of my teeth too! The big test will be next month at my next cleaning. I can’t wait to hear how well my teeth and gums look!

I love how easily the habits have formed and hope my children carry this through the rest of their years.

My favorite product? The Reach Access Flosser. I always use those little flosser toothpicks. But this is a larger version and you can really reach the back teeth so much better!! You just refill the flosser as needed.

Fear, Faith, and a Fistful of Chocolate

This book couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve had a rough month here on the home front and my worry, anxiety and stress has skyrocketed!!

I’ve always been a worrier and recently ( the last few years) have had a huge fear of bridges and heights. I have this big fear of dying and of my children dying. This is coming from losing my stepson 9 years ago and two of my sibling passing. I know this is a bit personal, but we all have issues and I’m working on mine…

Fear, Faith and a Fistful of Chocolate is a great little book full of great advice. Debora Coty talks about fear, worry and anxiety. Right up my ally!

People have many fears and anxiety and they all stem from something different. Debora gives true life stories and ways to handle the stressors in your life. She give anti-worrywart tools, such as setting aside time each day to worry and be done with it.

Blessed is the person who is too busy to worry in the daytime and too sleepy to worry at night.

This is one of those books you can pick up at anytime and read. I would recommend this book for any worrier.

I’ve ventured out of my norm this month to try some new tinted moisturizer and some of the new BB Creams.
