Your Child Can Design Her Own Unique Dress with Picture This Clothing! #Review

My 8 year old daughter loves to color and draw. She always tells me “Mommy I wish I could design my own outfit to wear.” I always thought that would be a neat thing for her to do, but never knew of any place that offered those services. I recently saw an advertisement for Picture This Clothing, and contacted them for a review opportunity.

Picture This is a really easy and fun way for your child to design her own unique dress. Just choose your child’s size (sizes 2-18) and print out the dress template. Now your child can have fun designing it! Your child can use markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint etc…and you can even put a real picture on the dress! Once the template is finished, take a high quality photo of it (there are directions on the site on how to take a good picture of it) and upload it to the site. The cost for the dress is $49 and due to high demand, the turn around time right now is 25-30 business days.

My daughter had such a fun time designing this dress. She colored the dress purple and added in some pink circles. She used colored pencils. She was so excited when the dress arrived! It only took about 3 weeks for the dress to arrive, and it is super soft and comfy. The washing and drying instructions are along the bottom inside of the dress. I followed instructions and the dress washed perfectly, no wrinkles or loss of color!

The dress came out just like the picture! I love that it is printed on both sides of the dress. The detail is amazing, and I have one happy little girl! She wore it to school the day after is arrived and received many compliments. She was so excited to show off her own uniquely designed dress! I will definitely be ordering for her again soon.

Once you place your order you will receive an email. This email will contain important information, such as user name and password for the app. It will also give you instructions for when you receive the device. When I received my kit I looked over the included instructions. I charged the phone by a window as told and let it charge for about 8 hours. I downloaded the app on my iPhone and was ready to try it out. My daughter was heading to school the next morning and to gymnastics so I put the device in the sleeve and attached it to her shorts. She complained a bit saying it was heavy the first 2 days of wearing it, but then she was used to it. On days she wears dresses I put the device in a zipped pocket in her backpack. I receive email alerts and text alerts when she leaves the house, and arrives at a location. You can name each location and it will save and show up as that location. The app is really great!! My daughter is in a portable at school and when I use the “Google Earth” view on the app, I can actually see exactly which portable she is in. Really neat! When she comes home and I know she is home for the rest of the day, I charge the device to make sure it is ready for the morning. I also get text and email alerts letting me know when the battery is low.

I also have my daughter wear this device when she goes to friends houses, when we go to stores, and especially when we go to Amusement parks/Museums/Zoos. It really gives me a piece of mind that if we get separated, I can look on the app and see her location.

There are many GPS devices on the market right now. Many are the watch type ones that you may think are easier. What I love about AngelSense Guardian is that this device is hidden on the child, and you don’t have to worry about it falling off. My worst fear is having my child kidnapped and the kidnapper seeing the watch and removing it.

Your Home Will Smell Wonderful This Holiday Season With Pink Zebra! Review and Giveaway #PinkZebra

You may recall that a few months ago that I had reviewed a line of home fragrance called Pink Zebra Soaks. I absolutely fell in love with Soaks and the company, so I decided to review their candle line. Let me introduce you to the world of Pink Zebra Sprinkles!!

So, what is a “Pink Zebra Sprinkle” you may ask? The Pink Zebra Sprinkles are a soy-based wax made up into tiny sprinkles. They can be used in many different ways and combinations to bring fragrance to your home. These sprinkles are completely non toxic, so if your pet or young child ends up ingesting them, they will be perfectly fine! They are available in 3.75 oz jars or 16 oz cartons. Sprinkles are available in many scents! From floral to baked goods, you will find a perfect scent for your home. Each jar is $8 and each carton is $25. Pink Zebra also offers a scent of the month called “Paisley’s Pick.” The month of September is Candy Corn!! You can also create you own custom fragrance. That is one of the best things about Pink Zebra in my opinion. I love to mix sprinkles and see what scents I can come up with!

Simmering Lights:

Now, what can you do with these Sprinkles? Well, many things! First, let me talk to you about the Simmering Lights. The first part to the Simmering light is the base. The base comes in 2 colors to choose from (black or antique white) and it comes with a light bulb. Each set comes with a base, liner and bulb for $25. Additional bulbs may be purchased for $4 each.

Once you pick which color you prefer you move on to the liner. The liner goes over the light bulb and included a glass dish to hold the sprinkles. The liner comes in a variety of colors. The colors are: Frosted Indigo, Frosted Bright Turquoise, Frosted Candleglow, Frosted Brown, Frosted Orange and Frosted White. A new liner that recently came out is Gold Mercury, which is gorgeous and my personal favorite!

The beauty about Pink Zebra Sprinkles is you can use as much or as little of them as you want. I usually use a cap full to scent my big open area downstairs in my home. In the jars, there are 12 cap fulls per jar and each cap full lasts about 25-35 hours when burning. One cool trick that Laurie told me about is when I am done with one scent and would like to burn another in the same dish, just pop that dish in the freezer for 10 min and the wax will easily slide right out! Then I just wait for the dish to get to room temperature and put new scented sprinkles in. So easy!!

Simmer pots:

So if you want to stay simple I would recommend a Simmer pot. Pink Zebra offers many different colors and looks of the Simmer pots. Each Simmer pot is priced at either $25 or $32.

Shades:

Ok, now you have your sprinkles, simmering light and liner… Lets finish it off with a beautiful shade! Pink Zebra offers so many beautiful and unique shades. During the holidays they will have themed ones (Halloween, Christmas etc..) that are so fun to have around the house. I want to show you some of my personal favs!

MIRROR TERRARIUM SHADE

Reflecting a mid-century modern vibe, there’s just something special about this brass framed, multi-faceted terrarium. the thin metal edging sets off silver mercury paneling, fix your gaze on this little world of warmth and light. 9” d x 7.

This shade I own and it is my personal favorite. The picture in the catalog does not do it justice! I love to change out the liners because each one gives it a different look! I have it on my granite counter in my kitchen and it looks fabulous! The price is $60.

BOO BATS METAL SHADE

Whimsical with that stenciled craft appeal, the Boo Bats shade brings out the kid in you. 4”d x 6”h

My son was very excited to receive and try out the Froggy headphones. They fit his head perfectly and he was easily able to plug in to his iPad.
