Into the Woods – In Theaters Now!

IntoTheWoods541861c99b824

I was able to see Into the Woods a few weeks ago with my cousin, Merrilee.

I had to think on my review after the movie. The movie had a wonderful cast and the scenes were amazing. I love a good musical and this is a musical. I don’t think I realized that before going to see it. The movie prodcued a few laughs and some of the scenes seemed cheesey. But now that I think about musicals can be like that sometimes. Grease for example is my all time favorite movie and some of those scenes a re a bit cheesey if you really think about it. The sudden break out of song through me.

However, I really enjoyed the movie and can’t wait to see it again with my daughter.

Big Hero 6 Now in Theaters

bigHero6539609bbe6af9

Today’s the day! Big Hero 6 is now out in theaters.

My daughter and I got to attend a special preview of the movie in 3D.  I was not sure if this would be a “girl” movie or not, but my daughter was excited to see it. I was very pleased with the movie as was my daughter, who is six years old. There was plenty of action to keep the whole movie going.  There were one or two scary parts but I think it’s safe for most children.

The scenes were beautiful and it told a great story. I think this is a must see movie!

Did you know that“Big Hero 6” is the 54th feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios? Wow!

From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.”

Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring breathtaking action with all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). The film hits theaters in 3D on Nov. 7, 2014.

Toy Story 4 in the Works!

I love the Toy Story series. It’s a classic and an all time favorite. And…there’s another film on the way!

TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!

Nearly two decades after Pixar Animation Studios created the world’s first computer-animated feature film with “Toy Story,” it revealed plans for Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” an adventure that returns audiences to the world of the studio’s signature characters.

John Lasseter, director of the original “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2,” will direct the film, which opens a new chapter in the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the “Toy Story” gang. The story was dreamt up by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich, the storytellers who have been the driving force behind all three “Toy Story” films.

“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” said Lasseter. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. ‘Toy Story 3’ ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another ‘Toy Story’ movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself.”

Writing team Rashida Jones and Will McCormack (“Celeste and Jesse Forever”) joined the project, and Pixar veteran Galyn Susman (ABC’s “Toy Story OF TERROR!” and “Toy Story that Time Forgot”) is producing.

The film is slated for release on June 16, 2017.
