Disney Princess Palace Pets

Disney shows are not just about the human character, they are about the furry friends too. Just about every show has an animal or two that is part of the show. Now Disney has launched a product called the Disney Palace Pets.

Disney has recently released an app into the Apple marketplace to introduce the first characters before the toy line arrives in retail stores nationwide in early August. Please see the link below for a free download:

The Palace Pets were first introduced in the Disney Princess Palace Pets app, a wildly popular, free iOS app from Disney Publishing Worldwide that launched in June 2013 and reached more than 1 million downloads in its first seven weeks. The app shares the story of how the Palace Pets met the Disney Princess characters and includes activities such as an interactive royal salon where children can wash, brush, groom, accessorize and treat the pets to snacks

We were sent a package of the new Disney Princess Palace Pets to enjoy! These Furry Tail Friends are $5.99 each and come with sparkly tiaras and styling brushes to groom their tails.



My daughter was super excited to get these new toys. She went right to work grooming her pets and playing with them. What do most little girls love the most? Princesses and pets. Now you can get them all in one!

Disney’s Frozen in Theaters Now – Happy Thanksgiving!

I just got home from seeing Frozen with my five year daughter. It was an adorable movie and I recommend it for all ages!

Disney Planes is Available for Purchase!

Having a little girl, Planes was not her first choice in a movie. She’s into princesses and fairies. Needless to say we never saw the movie in the theaters. I was disappointed. I wanted to see it! 🙂

So when given the chance to review the new PLANES Blu-ray Combo pack I jumped at it! It took a little convincing to get her to watch it with me but in the end we both enjoyed watching Dusty show those other planes what he can do! Some of the characters reminded me of ones from the movie Cars. he funny sidekick and the older mentor. But Planes has a different story to tell one of courage and not giving up!

Disney’s heartwarming family comedy, “PLANES,” revved up with high-flying action and adventure, lands in homes and mass retailers nationwide on November 19th. This endearing underdog story about a crop dusting plane named Dusty with sky-high dreams touches down on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD and On-Demand featuring a cargo hold full of exciting bonus features. The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition on Blu-ray Combo Pack Tuesday, October 1st!

I received the movie below to review.

It’s been 24 years since the original movie, The Little Mermaid came out. I did not realize it was that long ago. And think how popular the movie still is with children and adults alike! I was 17 with no children and now at 41 with children I still love this movie! We had this movie on VHS for years and sold it a few years ago. My daughter and I were excited to be able to see it again on Blu-Ray. The new Diamond Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack comes out today – October 1st!

Ariel (voiced by Jodi Benson), is a free-spirited mermaid, who is off on the adventure of a lifetime with her best friend, the adorable Flounder (voiced by Jason Marin), and the reggae-singing Caribbean crab Sebastian (voiced by Samuel E. Wright) at her side. But it will take all of her courage and determination to make her dreams come true—and save her father’s beloved kingdom from the sneaky sea witch Ursula (voiced by Pat Carroll).

My favorite part is when the sea creatures try and get Eric to kiss Ariel to break the magic spell. My daughter’s favorite part is when Ariel finds a fork and Scuttle the seagull tells h it’s a dinglehopper and humans use it to brush their hair with. She just cracks over that one! There are so many wonderful parts to this movie and if for some reason you haven’t seen it yet, please do. You will not be disappointed.
