In the sequel, which arrives in theatres this Christmas, Mary Poppins is back to help the next generation of the Banks family find the joy and wonder missing in their lives.

MARY POPPINS RETURNS stars Emily Blunt as the practically-perfect nanny with unique magical skills who can turn any task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure; Lin-Manuel Miranda as her friend Jack, an optimistic street lamplighter who helps bring light—and life—to the streets of London; Ben Whishaw as Michael Banks; Emily Mortimer as Jane Banks; and Julie Walters as the Banks’ housekeeper Ellen; with Colin Firth as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank’s William Weatherall Wilkins; and Meryl Streep as Mary’s eccentric cousin, Topsy. The film also introduces three new Banks’ children played by Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and newcomer Joel Dawson. Angela Lansbury appears as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from the PL Travers books and Dick Van Dyke is Mr. Dawes Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth’s character.

Do you have children that love Mickey Mouse? If so, you must check out this awesome RC Car by Jada Toys that I was able to review. My son is having a blast with it!

First off, I love how there is very limited assembly with this car. You just snap on the exhaust pieces and it is all set up and ready to play with. You do need batteries thought which are not included. Once I put the batteries in it was ready to go! You do have to switch the car on first, then switch on the remote and let them sync. The light blinking will let you know it is syncing and then once it stops blinking it is all set. This car has fun sounds from Mickey himself when he transforms his car. The car can go forward, backwards, left and right. There is a button to make horn sounds, and also a button to transform the car.

My 6 year old son is having a blast with this car. He has been coming home from school each day asking to take it outside to play with it. He loves transforming it and hearing all of the fun sounds. I love how it does not go super fast like most RC cars, so it is easy for my child to handle. It is the perfect RC car for his age in my opinion.

This would make a great first RC Car for your child, and this would make a great gift!

Jasmine Disney Princess Subscription Box Review from Pley.com #pleyandlearn

I just received the new Disney Princess subscription box from Pley! This month’s princess is Jasmine. The box transforms into The Sultan’s palace–it’s magical! It’s loaded with goodies just like the other Disney Princess Pleyboxes. There’s an activity book with a story and all sorts of activities that your little one will enjoy. A very pretty T-shirt, Pop keychain, and jewelry box with a necklace and magic lantern earrings — all fit for a princess! Your kids will have hours of fun with the Princess Jasmine scratch off and painting pages that are also included in this fantastic box! The total contents of this box would easily retail for over $45, but they sell it for $22.99! Each box contains 4-6 items that your little princess is sure to love.

My 9 year old daughter was super excited to check out what was in this box. She could not wait to take everything out and play!!

As you can see, it came with many cool Jasmine themed items for my daughter to enjoy. Now lets talk about each item.

Jasmine Long Sleeve T- Shirt: Some of the boxes come with apparel. When you sign up for the box you can let them know what size your child is. I am so happy that Pley.com offers bigger sizes. My daughter is a size 10 so they sent a Disney brand size 10/12 which fits her perfectly! It is long-sleeved so it is perfect for the winter weather right now.

Jewelry box with Jasmine necklace and magic lantern earrings: This set is so cute! It comes with gold-plated earrings for pierced ears, and a beautiful gold Jasmine necklace. Keep them together in the adorable metal jewelry tin when you are done wearing them.

Jasmine Pop keychain: My daughter is very into the “Pop” series of characters. This box comes with a Jasmine Pop keychain. Perfect for putting on your backpack or playing with it as a little doll/figure!

Princess Jasmine Painting pages: Just grab a paint brush and you are set! These painting pages are awesome and not messy! Each page (12 pages) comes with a set of dry paint right on them. Get a cup of water and a paint brush and this is perfect for traveling or doing at home.

Princess Jasmine Scratch Off pages: What child doesn’t love scratch offs? 2 magic scratch offs are included along with a stylus, so fun to scratch and find out what picture will turn up!

Activity Book + The Sultan’s Palace crafting activity: Each box you receive comes with an activity book filled with fun stories and activities based around the themed princess. It also comes with instructions on how to make your crafting activity!

My daughter was super happy with this subscription box. The items are high quality, and I love that the box can turn into a palace so there is no extra waste. This box would make a great birthday gift, anytime gift, or the holidays will be quickly approaching!

NANO METALFIGS Collectible Figures Review

Do you have a Harry Potter, Disney, DC Comics and/or WWE fan at home? If so, you must check out the new NANO METALFIGS! They are small collectible figures made out of 100% die-cast metal.

About NANO METALFIGS:

From Jada Toys, the company who created a new category of collectible figures with their Metals Die Cast line, comes an all-new line of collectible die-cast figures called Nano Metalfigs!

Each posed Nano figure is made of 100% die-cast metal and stands about 1.65″ tall and weighs about 30g or roughly 5 quarters. Although they might be small, each is finely sculpted and has premium metallic paints to achieve a high-quality appearance and durability, all at a Nano price.

These collectible figures come in single packs and also packs of 5, 10 and 20. I was able to review some of the Harry Potter Metalfigs single packs and also a Disney 5-pack. The figures are so character lifelike and make a great addition to any collection! There are also Nano Scenes which right now are available in Harry Potter Gryffindor Tower and DC Comics Batcave. You can create your own scene and show it off, how fun! I am so excited to purchase more of these for my 9 year old who absolutely loves Harry Potter.
