In the past year, I’ve reviewed several “green” cleaners and pretty much like them all. But I have found the ultimate bathroom cleaner!
I love to clean, especially my bathroom – NOT!
However, the new Method Antibac bathroom cleaner is spearmint scented and does wonders for bathrooms. I did have to breakdown and clean it this past Sunday. It wasn’t so bad – I had this cool, stylish cleaner, it actually cleaned with out harsh chemicals and it smelled great!
My husband was rolling his eyes at me every time I talked about it. But when you have boys – who can’t aim (you know what I mean) – clean smells matter.
So what makes Method great!
I’m guessing you’ve heard of method hand soaps before, but this is the new Method Antibac. Method has partnered with CleanWell Company, makers of the thyme-based disinfecting technology, to create a patented botanical formula that kills 99.99 percent of household bacteria including E.coli, salmonella enterica, influenza A and H1N1 virus on hard, non-porous surfaces.
The 3 new botanical cleaners are :
* the antibacterial kitchen cleaning spray in lemon verbena
* the antibacterial bathroom cleaning spray in spearmint
* the all purpose cleaning and disinfecting wipes in lemon verbena
Method cleans and kills germs without using bleach or triclosan. They do it with botanical ingredients instead. Method makes planet-friendly, stylish cleaning and home care products. The company was started by two high school friends who care equally about the environment and beautiful design in the home. It was nice to have a cool bottle. I know that sounds corny, but when you hate to clean, at least you can have a cool cleaner that’s good for you and the environment.
The wonderful bathroom spray, I raved about, is optimized to target soap scum and hard water stains while the kitchen cleaner is designed to cut through grease and grime. I have those orange water stains in my shower and this worked very well.
Method products sell for $3.99, about the same as others and you can find them at stores like Target, Lowes and others.
