Softlips Pure Review/Giveaway

Have you tried the New SoftLips Pure Flavors? I had the opportunity to tried almost all of them! I took some to my cousin’s house over the summer and she declined to try them because she’s allergic to most lip balms. We read the ingredients though and she was so excited to find out, that this new line is safe for her to use! And use she did!

Softlips Pure organic lip conditioners, has four new flavors -Peppermint, Acai Berry, Papaya and Chai Tea. These new flavors are 100%-natural and USDA-certified organic and are formulated with quality moisturizing ingredients to condition the lips, helping to keep them soft and healthy naturally. I had several to try so I passed a few out to friends and family and everyone has loved them so far. Everyone is so excited to hear about a giveaway whene they can win more!

Softlips Pure is free of synthetic chemicals and harmful ingredients, utilizing only all-natural emollients and conditioners, including organic oils, beeswax, shea butter and vitamin E that are USDA-certified organic. The product line also contains no animal by-products and is not tested on animals. The product is mounted on recyclable packaging that is printed with vegetable-based ink.

I always wonder what’s in some of the lips products, but am so happy to have found and eco-friendly, green, organic lip balm. I never use lipsticks anymore, they make me feel old. So lip glosses and balms are my thing right now.

Softlips Pure also has a 100% Natural Lip Butter that provides hydrating SPF 15 protection for very dry lips with zinc oxide, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, beeswax.

There is also the Softlips Pure 100% Natural Lip Gloss that comes in a tube applicator. It comes in three shades – Shell Pink, Natural Honesty and Coral Charm – with natural seed oils and beeswax and provides hydrating SPF 15 protection for dry lips with zinc oxide. I like the shiny glosses the best!

Don’t forget the Softlips Pure 100% Natural Lip Tint! A balm/stick applicator that provides sheer, tinted color in three shades – Shell Pink, Natural Honesty and Coral Charm – with beeswax, coconut oil and other natural ingredients and provides hydrating SPF 15 protection for dry lips with zinc oxide. Great for the beach or the pool. I know it’s fall, but I live in the south – perfect!

And lastly something to make those lips beautiful – Softlips Pure 100% Natural Lip Polish – provides natural exfoliation for lips with organic coconut flakes and sugar and deeply moisturizes lips with bees wax and natural seed oils like safflower, mango and castor seed.

Eco Toothbrushes?

I never heard of eco toothbrushes, but here they are!
Made out of recycled dollar bills, wood and flax. Okay, that’s one thing even I wouldn’t have thought of.
Of course it’s not the actual brush that’s recycled, but the handle. Plus these handles can be reused, just replace the head.
The RADIUS Source toothbrush is the answer for those of us who want to take care of their teeth and the earth.

So what did I think? It’s a toothbrush that does the job. The heads are a little larger than my usual, but that’s good. The handle can be used for right or left hands, just move the head. The replacement heads are easy to install. The handle is larger and I just needed to get used to it.

I would recommend them. Why not buy eco? I’d rather buy eco than not.
Check them out on Facebook. You can finf more info or buy them here. Starts at $6.95.
I was given a toothbrush for review purposes, the opinions are my own!

EasylunchBoxes Review/Giveaway

I’m a little late for “back to school” but it’s never too late to go green and become eco-friendly. I was asked to review the Easy Lunchbox system and it’s wonderful! No more baggies or individual containers, just one container that you can use for everything. Oh and it comes in it’s own lunch bag. This is one great eco-friendly lunch box!

Hunter and I choose the olive green color. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too big to fit in his backpack, and it isn’t. He loves it, so I love it. It’s very easy to get his lunch together in the morning. See the pictures before for a few of his lunches.

EasyLunchboxes.com came out in December, 2009 and has quickly become the new favorite among affordable and green lunch box solutions. Named a ‘top 5 Eco-Friendly Mommy Must Have” by Parents Ask, The EasyLunchbox System has been rated top choice by many independent reviewers. I definitely agree here. I love it and recommend it.
The Easy Lunchbox system is not just for kids. Moms and dads can use it too. The plastic containers are FDA approved. they contain no BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC. And they’re safe for dishwasher, freezer, and microwave.EasyLunchboxes would like to give one Mommy Has to Work reader a lunchbox system of their own.

To enter visit easylunchboxes.com and tell me something you learned from their site and tell me which color you would like.

PB Green Reusable Bags Review/Giveaway

Former elementary school teacher, Paige Baran, wanted to make a difference. When she became a stay at home mom, she started making reusable bags for her husband, also an elementary school teacher. She saw how much waste there was from using plastic baggies. Soon, all of the other teachers wanted reusable bags just like her husbands. That is how PB Green was born.

What makes PB Green bags different?

The outside for the Snack Bags are made of high quality designer cotton fabric and the inner lining is a water-resistant fabric that does not contain DEHP, phlalates, or BPA plasticizers. Neat French seams are used for a clean, crumb free bag.
For the Sandwich wraps the inner lining is made of ripstop nylon for ease in folding and to ensure freshness. The outside is made of the same cotton fabric as the snack bags. Both are closed by Velcro to keep items fresh.

I received a set of three bags to review. I’ve tried different types of baggies and have to say I really like these. The colors and designs are so pretty, really makes you want to use them. They can washed in the dishwasher and the lining is waterproof , which makes it nice. The all cloth baggies can sometime let grease slip trough. Don’t get me wrong I love them all and what it means. We rarely buy plastic baggies anymore.

Paige makes only so many of each set. So there is always new patterns. PB Green has offered a set to one Mommy Has to Work reader!

To enter visit PBGreen’s website and tell me which set you would like if you win.
