Fun Filled Weekend!!
ICE! at Gaylord Palms Orlando
Ice in Florida? No way. Yes way!
ICE! at Gaylord Palms is a favorite Christmas tradition. This month we will be going again! This will be our third visit and I happy to be able to take along my stepson and his fiance too!
ICE! is over 20,000 square-feet of hand carved ice sculptures. It’s a chilly 9-degrees so make sure to dress warm! They have 2 million tons of ice to look at and enjoy!
Every year is a different theme. This years theme is Dream Works’ Animation TV Classic Merry Madagascar.
ICE! is hand carved by 40 artisans from Harbin, China and will be arriving in early Fall. And while you’re thawing out from this coolest of attractions, you can bask in the dazzling lights of the magnificent Christmas décor throughout the resort and spirited Luminescence Christmas show. You may feel a chill in the air but you’ll feel warmth in your heart as you create wonderful holiday memories that last a lifetime.
The award-winning ICE! attraction is carved by a team of 40 artisans from Harbin, China. The talented artisans spend more than a month in Kissimmee/Orlando creating this one-of-a-kind attraction. Harbin is best known for its annual International Ice and Snow Festival, where more than 2,000 sculptors annually carve a 100-acre walk-through ice park, using ice from the nearby Songhua River.
ICE! is open daily from November 10, 2012 through January 1, 2013, including holidays.
Because it’s so cold, make sure to wear warm clothes and closed shoes and long pants. Hooded winter coats are provided to wear inside.
To see more visit ICE! online.
Tickets range from $20.99 to $27.99 for adults and $13.99 for children (4-12)
We went three years ago, here are some pictures from our trip.

Blue Man Group in Orlando
Have you ever been to see The Blue Man Group? They are totally awesome! We went four years ago and couldn’t believe how awesome it was.
Guests visiting Universal Orlando Resort can experience the world-renowned and outrageously fun Blue Man Group show at Universal CityWalk. The wildly popular theatrical show combines music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment and a blissful party atmosphere that is a Blue Man Group trademark.
The music is loud and the comedy is fun! The theatrics are out of this world! The Blue Man Group uses flousent paint to make music and art. The first few rows wear a plastic wrap as to not get paint on them, because the paint flies into the audience.
Balls, toilet paper, confetti can all be found being thrown into the audience for some fun audience participation.
We will be going to see them again next week. I hope my little one likes it too!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
Have you ever been to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? It’s a wonderful event at Disney and I would recommend if you ever get the chance to go, to go!

Disney is so magical and what better way to spend time with family during the holidays than at Disney?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event held select nights in November and December at Magic Kingdom theme park.
There is a special Holiday parade and live entertainment. This event does require a special ticket so only so many guests will be allowed in.
Every night of the big party there will snowfall and you will be able to get hot cocoa and cookies throughout the park.
There are special meet and greet sessions with your favorite Disney Characters. We went two years ago and met up with Mickey and Minnie.
The party starts at 7:00pm and goes through to midnight.
The party will only be on select nights. Here is the list for 2012: November 9, 12, 15, 25, 27 and 29 and December 2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, and 18.
Below are some pictures from 2 years ago. We are excited to be able to go again in 2 weeks!!
We received tickets to attend later this month. Opinions are my own.
A Day Out w/Chevy!
I got to test drive a 2013 Chevy Camero!! More on that later…..
While I had my hot little car…I was invited to bring some friends along to the Southern Women’s Show in Jacksonville, FL and have lunch on Chevy!
Before we got started walking around the show, we got to test drive some very cool cars and trucks. Below my neighbor, Linda, chose the big truck!
The Southern Women’s Show was way cool! There were booths set up with vendors that were all about WOMEN! Above I was trying out an awesome vegetable peeler. I ended buying one of those and love it!!
Here, my cousin, Megan had a mini manicure.
Merrilee, had some mole removed, or they tried to remove with a dermabrasion thingy. I would love a home dermabrasion kit.
My favorite picture is of Merrilee doing the chicken dance…. LOL!
Then it was off to lunch at the River City Brewing Company. I tried Mesquite Fish Tacos. They were awesome!! I can’t wait to go back and get some more.
Then Jennifer took us over to the water and took some more photos of us.
We all had a great time and I want to thank Chevy for an awesome Girls Day Out!
Stay tuned for my Camero review!!
Show passes and lunch was provided for us. Opinions are my own.
