Nocatee Welcomes Pieology! @Pieology #Nocatee

Pieology Pizzeria opened its doors on Monday, and Nocatee residents couldn’t have been more excited. Pieology consists of custom pizzas and salads. They have a menu of their specialty pizzas or you can create one however you choose! You pick from different sauces, cheeses, meats and toppings. Let your imagination run wild! Then your custom pizza is cooked in a open-flame oven and bakes your smoking hot creation in under 3 minutes. For the salads, you choose your greens, cheeses, meats, fresh produce and dressings. You pick your seat and and your custom pizza and/or salad is delivered right to your table in about 5-10 minutes.

I had the opportunity to attend a before opening event at the Nocatee Pieology and tried out their pizzas with my family. We had a plain all cheese pizza and Pieology’s famous “Mad to meet you” pizza that comes with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, mozzarella, house red sauce and olive oil. Both pizzas were delicious and the service was outstanding. I definitely recommend trying out Pieology, you will be hooked!

Dunkin Donuts Opens In Nocatee! #Nocatee @dunkindonuts

Very exciting news for Nocatee Residents, Dunkin Donuts is officially open! Doors opened yesterday, and customers were very excited to get their coffee and donuts so close to home. I am definitely looking forward to stopping for coffee from now on after I drop the kids off to school. This new location is at 641 Crosswater Parkway right next to Big Fish Yoga and Pieology. I love candy bars! That is my biggest snack weakness, hand me a full bag of any type of candy bar and the bag will be empty within an hour. I have always tried to pick healthier snacks, but when you are craving a chocolate bar you need a chocolate bar! Each bar, regardless of flavor, is Gluten Free, Low sugar (5-8 g, compared to the 20+ g of regular candy bars), High fiber (up to 10 grams), Protein (from 3-10 g), and 100% of your Omega-3s for the day(no fish taste, just awesome chocolate taste). It makes me feel good knowing I am not filling my body with tons of fat and sugar when I am craving a candy bar.

The first flavor I tried was the Cookie Dough. This flavor was really good, tasted just like a chocolate chip cookie but less sweet. This bar also kept me completely full until it was dinner time 5 hours later. This is huge for me since I am always snacking during the day because I seem to never stay full. I am also a big fan of the Peppermint flavor, chill these in the fridge or freezer and they taste just like a peppermint patty! My husband really enjoyed the Coconut, he said the taste and texture is the same as the Mounds candy bar. All of the flavors are really delicious, and I can’t wait to purchase more to have for my kids and for myself.

I was able to sample some of their new flavors. TastyKake has always been a go to snack in my home, I am so excited about the new variety of flavors. Both of my children love the different flavored donuts. Powder sugar coated with sweet fruit flavors. They have been asking every day for a week now if they can eat them for breakfast every morning! Peach, Strawberry and Orange Mini Donuts

Lemon and Strawberry Kandy Kakes

Tastykake has created a delicious and easy spring recipe to make with the Lemon Kandy Kakes!

Lemon Kandy Kake Cheesecake Cups

Ingredients:

Lemon Kandy Kakes
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup confectionary sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1 jar of lemon curd
Whipped cream to top

Instructions:

Combine cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream into large mixing bowl for the “cheesecake” filling.
In a small jar, break up Lemon Kandy Kakes to form the bottom layer, or the “crust”.
Layer on about two spoonfuls of the cheese mixture and one spoonful of the lemon curd.
Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
