When were house hunting almost 2 years ago we knew we wanted a house that was near a park. Having lived right on a park before we knew we did not want to be that close again, but within walking distance. The home site we picked was right dab in the middle of two parks! Then not 2 miles away is an awesome water park and additional parks. I can’t tell you how happy we are with our current neighborhood!

Right now there is a contest going on to find “America’s Favorite Park”! Your park could win the title and $100,000! But it starts with you going outdoors with your family, getting active and then encouraging others to do the same through words and photos.

The winning park will receive a $100,000 recreation grant to be used for improvements, while 2nd and 3rd will receive $50,000 and $25,000 grants, respectively. There will also be a $15,000 wildcard grant awarded to a lucky park chosen randomly from the remaining 25 spots on the leaderboard.
