Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Gift Pack Giveaway #MyBlogSpark

Lately I’ve been all about trying new things with the family. Even if it’s just a tweak here or there. Pillsbury has a new pizza crust that I knew I wanted to try out on them!

The new Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust is made with 16 grams of whole grain in each serving. I figured the family would never notice and still have something good for them! Let me just say that I never tried the “regular” Pillsbury Pizza Crust, so this was all new. Check out the Pillsbury Website for some yummy recipes.

Publix had Ragu Pizza Sauce on sale BOGO and I got some yummy mozzarella cheese ,pepperoni and I added some tomatoes and onions for me! Unfortunately my local groceries did not carry the New Artisan Pizza Crust, so I had to drive to a Walmart further away, but I found a great new Walmart – so win-win!

So on to our dinner…..

You can use a plain old cookie sheet, just spray with Pam. Layout the pizza crust to get you desired thickness. then bake for 8 minutes.

Then add your sauce and cheese and goodies. Place the pizza back in the oven to finish! The crust did not stick to the cookie sheet at all. I did see someone used parchment paper, but I had none.

What did my family think?

I liked it, my hubby liked, but for some reason the kids did not. I’m not sure why, except maybe it was crispy? But hubby ate all the leftovers over the next couple days. Yeah!

School is in session and I have faith it will be a great year!

My son’s back to school supply list last and this year included a key drive. My daughhter’s pre-k class has a computer right there in their room. (I kinda wish there was more than one) I love that the kids are getting to use all this technology!

I’m sure my son will using our computers a lot for school this year, as he did last year and Savannah, who is four, is already playing games on the computer. I think she knows more about it than daddy. 🙂

I may be getting my son his own laptop soon. I’m looking at the HP Pavilion dv6-70929wm notebook. He would certainly have the coolest notebook around. It has a sleek, tapered metal design that makes it easy to pick up. It has some cool features like Beats Audio and quad speakers and a subwoofer. Not sure he needs that though. It does have 3 USB ports and a webcam too.

We bought a new printer about a year ago and I kick myself that I did not buy a wireless printer. I would love to have the HP Deskjet 3052a e-Al-in-One printer. I loath having to take my laptop over to the printer and plugging it in and then printing. How nice would it be to just press the print button from wherever you are in the house? Did you know you can print from your phone too! Kids can send assignments to the printer from school? Wow – I love technology! I’m so getting one!!

The only thing I don’t like about printers is the amount of ink they go through. HP has some new cartridges, HP XL Ink Cartridges, that hold more ink! They still fit in your current printer, just won’t run out as fast. Plus you can get right at Walmart.

Paranorman is in Theaters Now – Giveaway!

I can’t wait to to see the new movie Paranorman. It opened August 17th.

A year ago, I’d probably say no to seeing this and let my son go see it. But my cousin is an investigator for the paranormal and I’m very intrigued now.

The film follows Norman, a misunderstood boy who can speak with the dead and his adventures as he takes on ghosts, zombies and, worst of all, grown-ups, in order to save his town from a centuries-old curse.

The film is rated PG and is from the makers of Coraline. Leslie Mann, John Goodman, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck and Kodi Smit-McPhee lend their voices to the film.
