Headline Shirts Review & Giveaway

My husband has been wearing only firefighter t-shirts for as long as I can remember. Lately though he has been venturing out and wearing a variety of t-shirts. Mostly because I buy them, haha! But he doesn’t complain.

We found a new place to shop for fun t-shirts – Headline Shirts.

Starting in 2005, Headline Shirts was born! They started out in the peak of the Bush years and their shirts had a more political edge. Eventually they branched out into intelligently funny tees that everyone could enjoy.

Their Vintageblend™ tees are hand-sewn in San Francisco, CA. Yeah, I love USA made clothing!! The shirts are a super-soft, poly/cotton blend, using eco-friendly inks and materials! Even the bags used to ship them are compostible!

I sat down with hubby and he picked out the shirt “It’s Not Me, It’s You” shirt. Perfect for him! We took it along on our vacation and you can see him playing horseshoes while wearing it.

It is super soft and comfy. I love how soft it is. We’ve washed it several times and there has been no fading or shrinking. What does hubby think? He loves it!

Twitter Party with Walmart!! 8/2 7PM EST #TaxFreeFL

I’m excited to announce that I will be hosting a #TaxFreeFL Twitter chat with Walmart on Thursday, August 2, from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern!

Like several other states, Flordia offers days with no state sales tax on certain items to allow families to stock up on items for back-to-school. Florida’s tax-free dates are Friday, August 3, to Sunday, August 5. I’ll be hosting a #TaxFreeFL chat to give fellow Florida moms a chance to share their game plans for the sales tax holiday and their top tips for back-to-school shopping. We’ll be discussing ways to make the most of this important weekend and how to get the kids off to school right.
