#SpreaDDtheJoy with Dunkin Donuts!

I was invited to a new Dunkin Donut’s store in my area and got do some taste testing too! Yumm!

I took my cousin, Merrilee, along with me to try all the new delicious favors. We received samples of the new seasonal selection: Hot Eggnog Latte, Hot Red Velvet Latte, Peppermint Mocha Iced Coffee and the White Chocolate Iced Coffee. All were good but my favorite was the Peppermint Mocha Iced Coffee.

Along with all those wonderful drinks to try we got to try the Spicy sausage sandwich, the New Red Velvet Donuts and some Holiday Donuts.

Afterwards we got a tour of the new Dunkin Donuts….This one has a conference room, more seating and internet.

WE got to see the Donut making station. Pretty cool to see how it’s all done. The donuts are all baked fresh in the store.

All the seasonal flavors will be available till the end of December with new flavors coming in January. They are looking into branching out with their hot tea selections as well as offering gluten free options. The gluten free products will be prepackaged so there will be no cross contamination.

For those of you that live in the Jacksonville area, there will be more and more stores opening up. Ponte Vedra, FL is a possibility for all my neighbors!

Board Games Make Great Gifts (giveaway)

The last six months or so my daughter has been all about playing board games. I’ve played Candy land and Chutes and Ladders I don’t know how many times. So I thought it was time to branch out to some new games. Even though some games are no in her age range she can play them just fine.

I was sent two games from Winning Moves to try with her: Sorry and Uncle Wiggily. I had never heard of Uncle Wiggily before but it looked like a cute game.

Uncle Wiggily is such a funny name! You play the game by picking cards that tell you how many spaces to move. The cards all have a cute rhymes on them but also the number for those little ones that can’t read yet. Uncle Wiggily is rated 4 and up and can play 4 players.

Sorry is such an old classic but always a fun game! My daughter loves to play both games and they are a nice change for the old ones.. However now I play these two every day! lol Winning Moves Games has quite a few games to choose from. Whether you are looking for something new or an old classic, check them out. I received another lovely book to read – A Marriage in Middlebury. Oh how I love to read unfortunately I haven’t had as much time as I’d like the last few months to read. I kinda wish there was a good storm so I could curl up and read the whole story in a day. Anita Higman draws in the reader and places them smack in the middle of the story. The characters seem so real and I ‘d love to meet them all. I f you love a sweet romance book this is the book for you!

A Marriage in Middlebury is a sweet read. It’s set in a small, quaint town. Charlotte and Sam where once going to be married. But something happened and Charlotte said no. Disney Planes is Available for Purchase!

Having a little girl, Planes was not her first choice in a movie. She’s into princesses and fairies. Needless to say we never saw the movie in the theaters. I was disappointed. I wanted to see it! 🙂

So when given the chance to review the new PLANES Blu-ray Combo pack I jumped at it! It took a little convincing to get her to watch it with me but in the end we both enjoyed watching Dusty show those other planes what he can do! Some of the characters reminded me of ones from the movie Cars. he funny sidekick and the older mentor. But Planes has a different story to tell one of courage and not giving up!

Just Dance 2014 #JustDance2014

Exercise can get boring. I walk almost everyday and do yoga class once a week. But sometimes it’s nice to spice things up a bit. That’ where Just Dance 2014 comes in!

We have an older version I bought at a yard sale. So I was happy to receive the newest edition, Just Dance 2014. It has a ton of great new music including:

Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke – My favorite!!

Applause by Lady Gaga

That Power by Will.i.am – Great song to dance with multiple players!!

Plus some classics like I will Survive, In the Summetime, The Love Boat theme and so much more. I’m all about that I Will Survive song!!

There are over 40 songs to choose from! You can find something for everyone.

I love to dance and this is such a fun activity to do with my daughter. Of course we sing to the songs too! Below is my daughter trying out the moves. Some of the songs involve multiple dancers which is fun. We each pick a dancer.

Just Dance 2014 has new features too! The World Dance Floor allows you to dance with people all over the world. The On Stage Mode is where you can have back up dancers and sing too. The Just Sweat mode is perfect for sweating off some of those extra holiday calories. You can actually track how many calories you’ve danced off! There are many more fun features to check out as well.

I haven’t seen anything inappropriate for my 5 year old daughter even though it says 10+. Maybe some of the lyrics, but we heard them all the time anyway.
