Zazzle Pillow Review

I love to take pictures and I love giving picture gifts to my family! I make a photo book every year and after a big trip. The kids really get a kick out of them!

But what about a picture pillow? How cool would it be to have your favorite picture turned into a comfy pillow?

I was super excited to review Zazzle’s Custom Pillows. When you create your pillow you can upload your own photo and /or add text. I’d love to do a pillow for each of the kids. Or you can choose a pillow already in their system. I did a thorough search and found sooo many that I liked, I could not choose just one! I did not know which picture of my own to choose from!

My cousin came to help me rearrange my furniture and hang some pictures and she suggested I place a small pillow on my rocking chair in a fish theme, since I like shells and the beach.

So I searched again and found the perfect pillow!

The pillows come in two sizes – 20″ x 20″ (square) and 13″ x 21″ (rectangle). They start at $49.95 and are made of 100% grade A woven cotton.

I love that the pillows are produced by sustainably employed single moms in the USA!!

After I order my pillow, it came in record time!

I love the colors and the size is perfect for my old rocker!

GrUVyWear – Swimsuit Review

Summer is here and so is the sun! We live in Sunny Florida and sun protection is always a must, especially at the pool.

Savannah has been taking swimming lessons and every morning I must lather on the sunscreen. Thankfully GrUVyWear just sent us a cool new swimsuit to try out. Their suits have a SPF of 50+ and block out over 98% of the sun. Because I received a shirt and skirt combo, I am able to apply a little less sunscreen and still know she is well protected.

My Kitties Love Meow Mix!

Remember The Meow Mix Jingle? It’s coming back! Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow…… The jingle stopped airing 16 years ago!! I can’t believe it’s been that long. I’m glad it’s coming back. I have fond memories and now my children can share them too!

Dressing Up W/New Costumes is Fun to Do!

My daughter is soooo into dressing up right now. The routine is pretty much the same every time. First she must pick out the right dress. Then go to the bathroom and apply make up to look “beautiful”. Finally have a tea party!

And then change dresses!

It’s so fun to watch her have fun and pretend to be whoever she wants.

I was able to review the Girls Designer Southern Belle Costume from Costume Discounters. They have so many costumes to choose from! Make sure to check out their new costumes for 2012. I will have to check them out come Halloween too. The prices are not bad, either.
