The Potty Cover Review and Giveaway

You ever go into a public restroom and just walk out? I have many times. Sometimes I make do, but feel really yucky afterwards. Not just for me, but poor Savannah has to kinda jump up on the toilet and her little hands grab the outside of the seat and her clothes rub on the front of the toilet. YUCK!

I saw these potty seat covers, PottyCovers – Disposable Toilet Seat Covers For Kids and just had to try them!

We went to Orlando on Memorial Day weekend to visit friends and I took one of the covers along in my purse. Halfway through the drive there, we got to try them out. The bathroom wasn’t that bad, but bad enough. I took the cover out and covered the potty and it was perfect!

The cover covers the entire potty! The sides and the front too!

It is made of non-woven fabric coated with a layer of plastic, creating a waterproof barrier between the toilet and the child. This product has the largest coverage of all seat covers on the market and for added convenience, each seat cover is individually packaged in a small, easy to open bag that makes it super easy to always keep one or two in a purse or a back pocket.

Using a public rest-room with a young child could be very stressful, but with PottyCovers the whole family can feel safe knowing that even at the filthiest bathrooms they will be protected from germs. We designed this product for kids, but it has become a must-have travel item for many of our adult customers.
A pack of PottyCover sells for $5.99 and it is available on Amazon, Ebay, all Buy Buy Baby stores around the country and at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores.

They are really easy to put in your purse or pocket. When my package is gone, I am buying these again! They are perfect

Care Bears Are Back! #CareBearsParty

This past Saturday, June 2nd, Care Bears debuted a new movie –  “Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot.”

Set in the magical in-the-air land of Care-a-Lot, Tenderheart Bear, Cheer Bear, Grumpy Bear, Share Bear, Harmony Bear, Funshine Bear and new playful, curious cub Wonderheart Bear all go on adventures that emphasize messages of caring and sharing.

I remember the Care Bears. They were all so cute and cuddly. I’m glad my daughter will get to experience them as well!

We are having a Care Bear Party! Thanks to Mom Select and MommyParties, I have selected to host a party for my daughter and all of her friends.

Stay tunes for my party post!

I received a party package to host a party and share. Opinions are my own.

Marvel’s the Avengers Movie Review

So Marvel’s the Avenger’s comes out Friday, May 4th! I know a lot of people are super excited! My nephew has seen all the movies and is doing a countdown on Facebook.

I have not seen one of the other movies. They never really interested me. Plus I had smaller children that were not too interested either.

BUT…I am so glad I was able to see the preview last night! And – it was in 3D!!

Hubby could not go, so my cousin, Merrilee went with me and we had a blast!

The movie had all the action you could want. All the special effects. And it had comedy! We laughed out loud several times! The audience interaction was cool too! Everyone clapped when the good guys defeated the bad guys.

At the end of the movie, I tweeted a local DJ the last lines to the movie and got a t-shirt for my son, who by the way was not happy I did not take him!

I would so see this movie again!! But first, I need to have a Marvel Movie Marathon and watch the other movies.

A quote from my cousin, “The best movie I’ve seen in a while!”

This is not just a kid movie, as I would have thought. This movie would be great for any age over 8 or 9. You would have to judge your own kids reaction.

Scotties Facial Tissues

I no longer use paper napkins and paper plates and use little paper towels. I really feel good about being able to use cloth napkins and so much less paper products. But….

I still gotta have my tissues and T.P. ( toilet paper). No way to get around these two, right? If there is I don’t wanna know about it! lol

One thing to to feel good about is –  Scotties Facial Tissues. Scotties is actually a paper company that has planted over 800 million trees!

Ever since 2009, Scotties made a promise to plant 3 trees for everyone it uses to make their tissues! You can see the promise right on the box! Their parent company, J.D. Irving Limited has been environmentally friendly for over 50 years.

I’ve been using Scotties for awhile now and it wasn’t because they were eco-friendly. That is something I just found about. It was because the price is right and I love the way they feel! I love the boxes, they are so cute and stylish! I usually buy them in threes, because there is always a coupon in the paper for them. Scotties usually beats even the store brand price!

Do you use Scotties? Do you buy tissues for the feel or whatever is on sale?

I received a couple boxes to review, but I have buying Scotties tissues for years. My opinions are always my own!

Foldin’ Money Review/Giveaway – Great Idea for Valentine’s Day

Looking for a unique Valentine’s day gifts? How about dollar bills shaped like a heart? Foldin’ Money kits would be a great way to make em! These would be great for kids and adults alike.

Make Money valentines! It’s easy with these unique money making shapes.

I always give my co-workers a little treat and card for Valentine’s Day. And don’t forget the kids teachers and neighbors. I go a little crazy during the holidays. I think this year I will take my money and make these adorable shapes and pass them out instead.

I received a kit for review. Hunter and I sat down one night and tried it out. The directions are simple and easy. The only thing I was afraid to do was use adhesive or tape. So we made ours without. But the directions do say to use double sided tape, otherwise the shape won’t stay together. The tape will stay because money is made from fibers.

Just take a bill any amount…

And….

Aren’t these cute?

Foldin’ Money Kits are designed to work with either U.S. or Canadian currency. Each kit comes with directions to make 4 different designs. And there are  four different variety packs.

Would you like to try out a Foldin’ Money kit for yourself? One reader will get the Red Collection. See giveaway directions below.
