Nestle – End of the Scool Year Ice Cream Party

The school year is finally over and I wanted to celebrate with the neighborhood. So I threw an ice cream party! Our family loves ice cream, my hubby has it every night. My first step was to go to Walmart and purchase some yummy vanilla ice cream and some toppings to go with it.

Here at Walmart, Savannah was having fun keeping the products in order.

Here’s a list of what I got:
3 gallons of Dreyer/Edy’s Vanilla Ice Cream $3.68
4 Nestle Crunch Bars $.68
2 Butterfinger Bars $.68
Nestle Syrup $2.18
Bowls and spoons
Why Edys and Nestle? We love Edy’s Vanilla, it’s so rich and creamy and goes with everything. My kids always get vanilla with sprinkles or chopped up chocolate bars. Nestle crunch is great with those rice crispies added in. And don’t forget the Butterfingers – they’re so good in ice cream!

I went with Vanilla, it seemed easier to go with one flavor. I choose the candy bars because their yummy and I crushed them up to add as toppings. I had some gummy bears and marshmallows at home to add to the list of toppings. I had it all in separate bowls and let the kids choose what they wanted. Some chose just syrup, while others choose a little of everything!

Everything was perfect! About eleven kids showed up. The kids had a blast talking about their last day of school and what they had planned for the summer. Some of the children had to wash their teacher’s car and some got to put shaving cream all over their desks! Sounds like the schools sent the kids off to a great start this summer. (When does school start again?!)

This shop/project has been compensated as part of a campaign for Nestlé, all views/opinions are my own.

Bare Minerals Review

I’ve always used the same facials cleansers for the past 25 years! And had no problems, until I started looking at the ingredients. None of them were natural in any way.

I recently tried the new Bare Minerals Skin Care line and am so glad I was introduced!

I love the products and would use them again! I received the 30-day cleanser, moisturizer and eye treatment trio. It’s a prefect introduction if your uncertain whether or not you will like the products. The set sells for $26.00. The bottles look small, but you will only need a little bit of the product. It’s worth the price!

I love the feel and smell of the Bare Minerals. If you’re looking to try something new and want something natural, try out Bare Minerals!

The set includes:

Purifying Facial Cleanser (60 mL / 2 Fl. Oz.)
Purely Nourishing Moisturizer: Combination Skin (30 mL / 1 Fl. Oz.)
Skincare Firming Eye Treatment (5 mL)
$26.00

Check Bare Minerals out on Facebook too!

I received the above products to facilitate this review. Opinions are completely my own.

MyExtra Gum – Review and Giveaway!

My Extra Gum has a great new website where you can make your own gum packages! This will be awesome for weddings, birthdays, family reunions, businesses and really anything you can think of! The packs are the slim packs containing 15 pieces of Extra sugar free gum. I went on to their website and made a few packs, just to see how easy it was. Let me tell you, it was easy!

You can upload a picture or use one of theirs. You can have a background, change the font, change the color of the package, all kinds of fun stuff. I made an Anniversary Bash for my blog. Above is a picture of Hunter for Baseball. This would be cool to put a picture of the team and pass them out at the end of the season.

Here’s one with my blog logo. You can add more info too!
And of course, there’s a thank you that would be great for teachers or co-workers.
After you’re done with the package, you get to pick the flavor. They have spearmint, peppermint and sweet watermelon. I choose sweet watermelon for mine. You do have to order 5 at a time. Which makes sense. I wanted one of each! 🙂

Want to win 3 packs of sweet watermelon with my 2nd Anniversary Bash logo?! Visit MyExtra Gum and tell me what you would make.

A Lucky Horseshoe Review and Giveaway

I love to decorate, even though I may not be that good at it. Years ago I stamped sunflowers and designs all over my kitchen and painted the serenity prayer on my bedroom walls. I loved it! But, the landlord was not happy about that when we moved.

I have good news! I don’t have to paint or stamp things on my walls, now I can use vinyl wall decorations! Easy to put on and easy to remove.

I was lucky enough to be able to review an item from A Lucky Horseshoe .

I was so excited because Hunter is switching rooms and Savannah will be getting his old room and I wanted to be able to decorate it a bit.

I picked Savannah’s name in pink with monkeys and a bird. It’s so pretty! I was also sent an owl and butterflies, but I’m not sure where to put that yet.

There is a lot to choose from – rockets, horses, growth charts, sayings, birds and so much more! I love the tree at the top of this post. I would love to see some palm trees, though.

Check out the owner!!

Hi, I’m a 14 year old beginning business person and with the help from my parents I was able to start my own business. I love horses and that’s why I named my shop “aluckyhorseshoe“. I own a 22 year old Morgan mare. I also own 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds and a tank full of fish. My family and I have been making arts & craft items, wildlife/ horse photography for years. We have always enjoyed the artistic part of our vinyl wall art and decal business, they are really an easy way to decorate a room or vehicle. Also I love volunteering at the horse rescue and seeing and caring for all the beautiful horses in need of help.

Check out her Etsy shop too!
