CSN Review Coming Up

I get to do a review for CSN! I’m so excited! CSN has over 200 stores to choose from. One of the items I’m looking to review is a dining room table. Our dining room table is 16 years old! Which isn’t that bad, however it’s been tortured by 4 boys! I’ve been checking out the dining room tables on the CSN websites.

Checking out the luggage, there is so much to choose from! I love the Samsonite I have now, but it’s 20 years old. Then over to the cookware to see about some new pots and pans. There’s also toys for Christmas to buy, so we’ll see. I’ll let you know what I choose soon!

Shred 5 Fast Review

In January I finally made it down to my pre-pregnancy weight – 2 years later! I was so happy. My next goal was to lose 10 lbs by August for my 20 year high school reunion. Then we went on vacation and I gained weight. I’ve been totally frustrated!!

I’ve been eating okay and I exercise when I can. So there’s my problem – I need to set aside time to exercise. Work, kids, home, blog – who has time? I’m going to make time!!
There is a new workout DVD called Shred 5 Fast, put out by Moms Into Fitness. I was able to review a copy. I’ve tried other workout tapes, or DVDs and have a few favorites. The girls I work with also use them and sometimes we trade.
My workout – You can always tell how good a DVD was by how you feel the next day. My thighs were a little sore, so I guess that’s good. I always like to feel some soreness the next day. Weird I know. The workout has some fast moves throughout and I’m not super fond of those. There was different types of exercise all rolled into one workout, such as kickboxing, plies, aerobic type leg pulls, and constant core engagement

My co-worker took home the DVD to try out as well. She’s our expert. She has every workout DVD out there. Here’s her review: The workout covered all the areas, thighs, arms, abs, everything needed for a great workout. She said the moves were a little slow for her. ( wow – and I thought they were too fast, lol) She said the workout was good and she would recommend it.
So – two differing opinions about the intensity, but overall we both liked it. The DVD contains 2 30 minute workouts, so you not just doing the same routine. I will add this to my collection and get moving!!

You can get a 20% discount – just enter the code DVD20. Go to the Moms Into Fitness website and you can order directly through them. The price is $15.99 before the discount.

Scar Away Silicone Sheets

Do you have a scar you’ve always wanted to get rid of or at least minimize? Or do you know someone who does?

Two and half years ago, my son got bit by a dog on the arm. It’s kinda a like a war wound for him, he likes to show it off, as I guess most kids, or boys do. The surgeon suggested silicone sheets, but I never got around to it.

I had the great opportunity to review Scar Away. Scar Away is a medical grade silicone scar sheet, used by plastic surgeons, burn centers and hospitals. The sheets diminish scars that are new or old, helping to restore the skin to a more natural texture and color. It’s safe for ages three and up. You can even use them over and over again, up to seven days and it comes with a little case to store the used sheets when not in use. The sheets can be cut to custom fit the scar.

I received the Scar Away sheets in May. And I was using them, when I remembered, on my son. The thing is you have to take them off when he plays outside. So I put them on after bath at night and my husband took it off after school. I know – I wasn’t very consistent and then bam – summer hit and I just can’t keep them on him. He is outside from dawn to dusk. So, come school I will have him wear them again. I would love to see the scar diminish some, although I don’t think he really cares.
I would recommend them to anyone with a scar. They are easy to use and it looks like a band aid. Scar Away also has C-Section sheets
You can visit them on Facebook and Twitter too! You can buy them at your local drugstore, you don’t need a prescription. They sell for $19.99 for 8 sheets, but those sheets can be cut to custom fit.

I was not paid for my opinion, however I did receive free products for review purposes. Contacts made through The Product Review Place.

Googly Bands Review

Have you heard of Googly Bands? They are those funny looking bracelets, that are shaped like all kinds of things, that the kids wear then they go back to their original shape after. These are great little gifts for birthdays , Christmas or just because. My son has at least a hundred of them. (They were the biggest thing at school. Not so big during the summer, no one to show them off too!)

I was able to review 2 packages of Googly Bands for review through Twittermoms. Of course my kids loved it!

Googly bands are available most everywhere and new styles a re constantly coming out. I love this – the packaging is made from OPP material which is recyclable and creates less waste. The bands themselves are made form 100% silicon so they won’t pull on your hair during wear.

Plus you can design your own Googly Band and possibly win a $50.00 gift card!
Visit www.googlybands.com for more details. You can also visit them on Facebook and Twitter.

I recieved Googly Bands for review through Twittermoms. This dd not affect my opinion.

Vat 19 Review

Shopping on line for gifts can sometimes be hard. All you see is a picture and a description, but wouldn’t it be nice to see it in action?

I’d like to introduce you to Vat 19. Vat 19 has many unique gifts, unusual gift ideas, fun and strange gifts.

A favorite of mine is the paper coffee cup that’s not paper. It just looks like it. Great way to be green. It’s even washable. They have Lego Soap and a giant Gummy Bear on a stick. My son would love that! There are gifts for every occasion, for every person. Plus you can see their gifts in action. Most of the items have a video next to the description, so you can see how it works.
I was able to review the SkyBall HyperCharged Bouncy Ball. I gave it to my son for Easter. My son has always liked bouncy balls, so I figured he’d get a kick out of it. It’s filled with a combination of compressed
air and helium, making it very bouncy! According to the website, it has been known to bounce as high as 75 feet! Below is a video from the website so you can see how the ball works. I wanted to download my own video, but haven’t figured it out yet.

The SkyBall is sold for $8.50 and comes in five colors – blue, green, yellow, purple and magenta. My son and daughter both had fun with the ball, the same as they would with any other bouncy ball. But the website, Vat 19 is definitely worth looking into. There are so many great gifts and with the holidays lurking, you be sure to find something for everyone!

Here’s Hunter trying out the SkyBall.
