SeaWorld Orlando, Firehouse Subs and Coca-Cola are honoring Florida first responders for their bravery, sacrifice and service with a special opportunity to spend a day at the park with their families. Now through August 31, first responders can register to receive free admission to SeaWorld Orlando through September 30.

 

In addition to complimentary admission, qualified first responders receive up to four discounted tickets for friends and family for just $49.50 per person, a savings of 50 percent off general admission.

It’s back to school time again, which means Hair Cuttery is having their  Share-A-Haircut Campaign.
For each haircut purchased, one will be donated to a child in need—just in time for the new school year.
Going back to school is a big deal to kids. They see their peers, friends and meet new teachers. Kids want a new look. A fresh look. They want to look their best. For most of us and our children, its no big deal to get a hair cut. But for some it is a big deal. This summer, Hair Cuttery is aiming to donate tens of thousands of free haircut certificates ahead of the new school year. Certificates will be distributed with the help of more than 100 local government and non-profit organizations in communities across the country.

Aside from the people who are vegan, most everyone I know buys meat, eggs, or dairy at some point during the week/month/year. And those of you who do – have much more buying power than you probably even realize. By buying welfare-certified animal products, or more plant-based products, you send a strong message to food companies that you care about the treatment of farm animals.
Just an average size family spends hundreds of dollars a month on meat. Imagine if every
single consumer used that buying power to purchase welfare-certified meat instead of the meat from inhumane factory farms. What a difference that would make!

As you may already know, most of the nearly 9 billion animals raised for meat, milk and eggs in the US are suffering in inhumane factory farms.
