Baltic Amber Jewelry from The Amber Baby Giveaway #TheAmberBaby

  Raw Honey Caramel Chips

*This is a guest post

“What is that beaded necklace your son is wearing?” I received this question about ten times after I posted a photo of my youngest , Matteo, wearing a Baltic Amber necklace on social media.  I have three boys ranging in ages from 11 months to 7 years old but only until recently did I learn about the benefits of Baltic amber. With each baby I have turned more and more to natural remedies rather than synthetic medications.  When Matteo was 4 months old and began teething, I decided to research Baltic amber after it came recommended from a friend and purchased my first amber necklace for him.  Within a couple of days of wearing his necklace, the drooling suddenly stopped and it seemed as though he had been soothed. I was honestly amazed! IMG_8022 Commonly known as “teething jewelry” in Europe, Baltic amber has been used as a natural remedy for thousands of years.  Baltic amber is a fossilized resin, not a gem, that washes up on the shores of the Baltic Sea.  The resin comes from prehistoric trees, dating as far back as 50 million years ago.  Over time, the resin is transformed to amber due to processes of polymerization and oxidation. Baltic Amber is known to have analgesic properties.  When worn on the skin, the amber warms and the natural succinic acid is absorbed through the skin which helps to relieve pain. Shortly after recommending Baltic amber to all my mom friends, I decided to start my own website.  All of our necklaces are made using raw Baltic amber from Lithuania. Amber is collected and mined in many different regions of the world but Baltic amber has the highest succinic acid content. Baltic amber is not only for children but can help people of all ages.  It’s helpful in the relief of painful arthritis, headaches, dental issues, etc.  I hope to soon begin carrying adult sizes as well.

Being that I’m a neurotic mom myself, before purchasing the necklace I questioned, “How safe are these?”  We already know that succinic acid is natural and beneficial. To maximize the safety of our necklaces all beads are hand-knotted in between every bead.  This prevents beads from scattering if the necklace should break.  All necklaces are fastened with a plastic pop-clasp which will automatically open under a defined tension.  While your baby sleeps, it is advised to remove the necklace or wrap around the baby’s ankle.  As always, all jewelry should be worn under adult supervision.

Money Saving Solutions From The Deal Finding Queen

Once you have children, life gets, shall we say, a tad more expensive. You have to pay for clothes, food, toys and as they get older the latest fashion. They push up your bills, and they can make the cost of home maintenance a lot more expensive. That said, I don’t begrudge my kids the money they spend or the money I spend on them. In a way, they’ve helped me. They’ve pushed me to save more so I can buy everything we need and want without the costs getting too great to handle. You might have wondered about how I do this. Well, I’m happy to tell you all the ways I make home living a little cheaper. Make sure to check your credit at least a couple times year at credit sesame reviews

Price Checking

My first tip is to make sure you’re price checking whatever you buy. I do include everything in this advice from energy bills to the local food shop. These days, it’s easy to check the prices of the largest and smallest purchases online without any trouble at all. There’s no excuse not to be doing it and before long you’ll save a lot of money without even trying. You just need to get into the habit of always checking the price of anything that you buy, from toilet roll to car insurance.

Coupon Websites

You probably know by now that I love using coupons. I like telling people where they can get them too and most of the time I use services like Coupons Code Finder. By doing this, I’m able to get the codes for all my favorite stores. It doesn’t matter what your preference is when it comes to shopping; there’s probably a code for it available online. You just need to know where to look.

Energy Saving

What’s the biggest drain from your bank account each year? I’ve told you already; it’s the amount you waste on energy bills. I say waste because generally speaking; energy bills don’t have to be a fortune. Usually, they cost so much because people struggle to cut them down. But, there are lots of ways you can pay less on energy bills. One possibility is to save on water by using it out of the kettle. You can use that water to make tea and fill the washing bowl. By doing this, you can make sure that you’re spending less on the water each month. Particularly, if you’re living on a water meter.

Buying In Bulk

Finally, if you know you need a product, you may want to consider buying it in bulk. Particularly, if it is on offer one day of the week. An example of this is if you know there’s a drink your kids love. Suddenly it’s on offer with forty cans for seven dollars. In this case, it’s best to buy three packs rather than one. While, you’ll be spending more on your weekly shop in the short-term, in the long-term, you’ll be spending less.

Using my advice, you’ll be able to save a lot more and spend on things you truly desire.

I received 4 sets of hair accessories and nail polish/chapstick to review with my daughter. She is really loving Finding Dory right now, so she was excited to get two sets of Finding Dory accessories. The other two sets are Frozen hair bows and a Trolls nail polish set.

My daughter’s eyes lit up and she was so excited to try out the nail polish. She immediately grabbed the Finding Dory Cosmetic set to try out first. She loves the carry case it comes with, it has really cool sparkly confetti all throughout it! She loves the glittery bows the set came with too.

We are looking forward to seeing the new movie Trolls, so receiving the set which is Troll themed was very cool. My daughter loves the little gems that come with the set to put on her nails.

The Frozen bow set was a big hit as well. My daughter loves to wear bows in her hair, these are very sparkly and include different colors, styles and sizes. Any Frozen fan would love this set.

The 2nd Finding Dory set includes Pastel type color polishes and also a cute carry tin. This is perfect for travel. She loves keeping her nail polish in this tin.

My daughter tried a nail polish in each set, she was able to polish her nails herself, and the polish does coat better than some kids polishes we have tried and dries quick.

If you need a gift to give to that special little girl in your life, I definitely recommend checking out Townleygirl. They have a large variety of characters to choose from and any little girl will love to sparkle and shine with Townleygirl.

6 Immunity-Boosting Foods

If you are looking for a way to boost your immunity so you don’t have to worry about fighting off so many colds and germs, you may need to take a look at your diet. Certain foods have the power to heal your body and can do some amazing things for your health. If you are ready to start experiencing the magic of foods, here are some tips just for you.

1. Apples

At this point in your life, you should be familiar with the phrase “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” This is not just a popular saying, it is true. Many studies have been done throughout the years to prove that apples can have a significant and positive effect on your health. Don’t stop at eating apples, add more fruits into your diet like grapes, oranges, bananas, kiwis, blueberries, and strawberries.

2. Elderberry

Elderberry supplement products, like Private label Elderberry, have been around for many years and are beneficial for the world we live in. With the common flu or diseases like Covid-19, boosting your immune system, naturally is one of the best preventative measures you can take. Elderberries are known for being rich in different vitamins and minerals like Potassium & Vitamins C, B6 and A. Use this for immune boosting potentials.

3. Garlic

Garlic is not just a tasty vegetable, it is also a spice that can be used to liven up the blandest of meals. When eaten regularly, you can increase your immunity with it because it makes it possible for your body to produce natural killer cells faster. Killer cells are what your body uses to help fight off diseases and germs. Add more garlic into your diet to enjoy better immunity all year, especially during the colder months when viruses and the flu tend to run rampant.

4. Chicken Noodle Soup

This comfort food has been used for centuries as a cure-all for the common cold and other ailments. Chicken noodle soup has scientifically been proven to help boost immunity, especially in times of stress. Its health properties enable it to stop inflammatory white cells from accumulating and moving throughout your body. Inflammatory white cells can lead to respiratory issues, such as bronchitis and colds. The soup also helps to thin out the mucous in your nasal passages to relieve congestion so you can breathe easier.

 5. Mushroom Supplements

Mushroom supplements from websites like Nature’s Happiness contain different fungi that are associated with a wide range of health benefits, from strengthening the immune system to increasing a person’s productivity and reducing inflammation.

Adding mushroom supplements to your diet helps decrease the risk of developing various health conditions. Each mushroom strain has its own unique properties that can be used on its own or combined together with other fungi to help improve energy levels and boost focus — making you feel great.

6. Tea

Certain teas are full of antioxidants that help your body to fight off free radicals and other toxic, cancer-causing agents. Black, green, and other types of teas can also help your body to fight off viruses. Of course, you’ll need to drink several cups of tea each day to enjoy those benefits.

7. Probiotics

Contrary to what you believe, all bacteria is not harmful to your health. Probiotics are a healthy kind of bacteria that are normally found in your digestive system. Since your body contains both good and bad types of bacteria, you’ll need to work on maintaining a good balance. Probiotics are not just inside of your body, they can also be found in certain foods and supplements.
Your digestive system plays an important role in your immune system. It is responsible for breaking down, processing, and absorbing nutrients from the foods you eat. When the number of bad bacteria overtake the amount of good kind, you may start to experience poor digestive health, weight gain, lack of energy, and a whole host of issues that indicate your immune system and digestive health is off track. Prevent these issues from happening by eating a fair amount of dairy products, such as yogurts, cheese, and other plant-based foods or by taking Bio Complete 3 probiotics.

8. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that your body can’t make on its own, so you need to get it from your diet or supplements. You can take a supplement such as methyl b12, which is fast acting and helps to lift mood and support your energy levels. Alternatively, some commons foods that contain Vitamin B-12 are:

  • Cheese.
  • Milk.
  • Yogurt.
  • Eggs.
  • Beef And Lamb.
  • Shellfish.
  • Breakfast Cereals.

9. Seafood

Wild caught fish, such as salmon, sardines, and tuna are loaded with protein and omega-3 fatty acids. These nutrients can work wonders for your immune system. The protein helps to provide your body with a good source of fuel and the fatty acids help to protect your cells against damage and disease. It is important for you to understand that all fish and seafood are not the same. While it is okay for you to load up on salmon and tuna, you should try to steer clear of fish that is raised locally and on farms.
There are plenty of foods that you can use to boost your immune system’s function. Depending on your health, it may be necessary for you to take supplements to get the level of nutrients you need to enjoy good health. Before you rush out to purchase anything, check with your doctor and make sure you research supplement manufacturers first. Don’t forget to double check the dosage amounts. Even though you may resort to using supplements, they should not be used as a substitute for real food. You should try to get everything you need from your diet first, before you resort to the use of supplements to get the nutrients you are lacking.
