Curious George 3, Back To The Jungle

I remember being little and how much I used to love watching Curious George on TV. When the opportunity came up to write a review on Curious George 3, Back To The Jungle, I was very excited to share my childhood memories with my children.

This DVD is being released on June 23, 2015. The Soundtrack will be available June 23, 2015 on Back Lot Music, featuring the new original song “Welcome to Paradise” performed by Plain White T’s and score by composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions). This movie is rated “G” for all ages, and the movie is 1 hour and 21 minutes long and also includes 4 Sing Along Songs.

Launch into the adventure of a lifetime with everyone’s favorite monkey in this all-new movie, Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle! When Curious George is asked to take part in a very important space mission, a little monkeying around forces him to crash-land in Africa. While a worried Man with the Yellow Hat searches for him, Curious George bravely explores the jungle and makes new animal friends along the way. Reunited at last, the two best pals have an unforgettable adventure shared with their new friends! Featuring the voice talents of John Goodman & Angela Bassett, with music by the Plain White T’s, join Curious George on his funfilled journey that the whole family will enjoy!

I didn’t know how much my 6.5 year old daughter would enjoy this movie, since the first words out of her mouth were “Is this for little kids?” My 3.5 year old son loved all of the colorful artwork on the DVD cover which made him super excited to watch the movie.

Both of my children were glued to the TV the whole time! They both really enjoyed watching George on his adventures. My 6.5 year old loved all of the songs and enjoyed singing along. My 3.5 year olds favorite part of the movie was the jungle with all of the new animal friends for George. All of George’s adventures kept my children excited and attentive. My children really enjoyed this movie, and they are looking forward to watching it again.

4th Of July Fireworks Craft for Kids

I am not a very crafty mom, so when I look to do crafts I try to find ones as easy as
possible for my kids. This craft my 6.5 year old daughter made, and it was simple yet fun
for her!

Materials needed:
1. Blue and red food coloring
2. Black construction paper (or any color you prefer)
3. Salt
4. Small straws or a dropper
5. Bottle of glue

Start off by having the kids draw on the paper with the glue in the shape of fireworks.
Then shake salt over the glue and make sure it covers all of it.

Mix water with the red & blue food coloring, and grab a small straw or dropper. Pick up
some colored water with the straw/dropper and put the water over the salt lines.

Let the craft dry overnight once done (ours was dry within 5 hours) and you will see
some really cool fireworks!!

This was a very fun craft, and great for all ages.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 – On Netflix Now!

I am a member of Netflix Stream Team.

I am super excited to see that Orange is the New Black is now on Netflix! Season 3 started on June 12th.

The women of Litchfield unapologetically return for the third coming. With a crisis of faith and their beliefs and loyalties being tested, each character must decide what and who to believe in.

The only bad thing is I’ll watch them all in a day and then I’ll be done! Okay maybe not in a day but in a weekend.
Binge watching shows is the new thing. Everyone is talking about how great it is to be able to watch our favorite shows back to back. I even do this to prime time sows. I’ll record several episodes then watch them back to back like a movie.
