On Saturday we took the family about an hour away to Conner’s Amazing Corn Maze. Then on Sunday we went to a local Pumpkin Patch. We had a good time both days. Even my teenager had fun!
Have you been to the pumpkin patch yet?

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Jif To Go Dippers. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.
Snacks on the go. That’s a mom’s life! The kids are always hungry and we don’t want to keep buying junk food out and about so we pack up some good foods from home and bring them along.
Maybe it’s just my kids, but they are always hungry. I swear I do feed them I do! I want to pack healthier snacks and what’s better than peanut butter? Jif now has two delicious snacks on the go that I kind of want to keep to myself. Yes they are that good!
Jif To Go® Dippers are an all-in-one portable snack of Creamy Peanut Butter with Pretzels or Chocolate Silk Peanut Butter Spread with Pretzels. From soccer practice to summer travels, Jif To Go Dippers provides a simple and delicious solution for every snacking occasion. Or sitting on your computer working and want a snack. Me!
Jif To Go cups are packaged with 1.13 oz of peanut butter or Chocolate Silk with 10-12 pretzels. There are 250 calories per pack. I was sent several of each flavor and ate 4 all by self. Not at the same time though!
And as you can see here i did share with my daughter, well i shared a little. She loved the Jif to Go Chocolate Silk. Of course she takes after me because we both love chocolate covered pretzle and this cocoalate is a bit healthier for you
These delicious snacks came out in June of 2014. When i first went shopping for them I could only find them at CVS but have since seen them at my local grocery store.

I took my daughter to her very first mani and pedi a few weeks ago. Now we do our nails all the time but she has never been to a salon. So afterward I ask her how it was and she said, “I want to come every week!” I guess I started something…

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day starts today, October 10th in theaters every where!
My daughter and I saw the trailer for this and I knew it would be a great family movie. And it is! Savannah and I went last Wednesday to a sneak peek showing. (gotta love those perks) We ended up going to the wrong theater, but we were not late once we arrived. Yeah.
The movie starts off with 11 year old Alexander telling you about his Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Days. And all about his family’s very good days. You gotta feel for poor Alexander and his bad days. Especially the day before his birthday!
But then something happens the very next day and Alexander’s luck has changed, but so has his family’s. Everyone but Alexander is having a bad day. In fact Alexander is having a great day!
My favorite scene in the movie is when Alexander’s dad, played by Steve Carell is kicking around some garbage cans and getting his anger out. It’s there that Alexander tells his family that you have to have the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Days to appreciate he good days.
I loved this movie and can’t wait to see it again. I hope it comes out on DVD by Christmas. It will be under my tree for sure!
Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one. “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” directed by Independent Spirit Award-winner Miguel Arteta (“The Good Girl,” “Cedar Rapids,” “Youth in Revolt”) from a screenplay by Rob Lieber, is a 21 Laps Entertainment/Jim Henson Company production. The film hits theaters nationwide Oct. 10, 2014.
