We were sent the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie-rella DVD to check out. It comes out today, February 11th, so if you need a Valentine’s Day gift for your little one this would be perfect!
First I have to tell you I was a little excited about watching this. It looks so cute and we watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s The Wizard of Dizz not too long ago and loved it, so I knew this would be good too!
The movie starts off with the gang wanting to get something special for Minnie. But they can’t go shopping with Minnie around so they all gave her chores to keep her busy. Of course Minnie can’t say no to her friends. Minnie falls asleep and dreams that her fairy god-mother visits her and tells her she should go to King Mickey’s Ball. Minnie’s animal friends help her make a beautiful dress. Then the fairy god-mother transforms a tomato in a carriage and Goofy drives her to the ball.
Minnie gets to the ball and dances with King Mickey, which embarrassed my daughter a bit….Then midnight came and Minnie ran away leaving behind one of her glass slippers. The carriage turned into a pizza. And King Mickey finally finds Minnie and they live happily ever after.
Then Minnie wakes up and finds her friends have surprised her with a pair of glass slippers as a gift!
I liked that there were no wicked step sisters or stepmother. The movie was very cute and I would recommend it for anyone who loves Disney.
After the movie I noticed that there was an activity inside the DVD case. My daughter immediately says, “Oh yeah, they said that would be in there”. She saw the commercial announcing that there is a paper castle to put together inside the movie. So we spent some time putting that together as well.
See this clip below. For some reason my daughter got all embarrassed when they danced.
The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie-rella DVD comes packaged with the full-length adventure, a FREE Castle Play Set, 3 additional Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes and 10 Minnie’s Bow-Toons Shorts!
You can watch the show on TV on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 9:00 a.m., ET/PT on Disney Channel and 5:30 p.m., ET/PT on Disney Junior
Pluto’s Tale – In Pluto’s very first fairytale adventure, we help Prince Pluto rescue Princess Bella from the clutches of sneaky Wizard Pete.
Mickey and the Enchanted Egg – Mickey finds an egg which soon hatches into a Baby Dragon. Mickey and his friends have to return the Dragon back to her castle home and convince the powerful Wizard Pete that they didn’t steal the egg in the first place.
Daisy’s Pony Tale – When Professor Von Drake’s new invention, a Fritzer-Spritzer Spray Potion, accidentally gets spritzed on Daisy’s ponytail, it makes her hair grow super long! That’s not goody-good at all. Along with Mickey and Sire Goofs-a-Lot, Daisy travels on her pony to find twelve leaves of the magical plant, Rapunzel, in order to reverse the effects of the Professor’s potion and fix her ponytail.

I love baking. I love that my daughter likes to help me. It makes for some wonderful mommy and daughter time. Nestle sent me several bags of candy to create a Valentine’s Day Treat!
I choose the Huggable Heart Cookie Cups to make. The recipe is located at Meals.com.
Ingredients include:
•1 package (16.5 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Bar Dough
•48 WONKA SweeTARTS Hearts Gummies
•1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º F. Line 24 mini-muffin cups with paper liners. Place one square of dough into each lined cup, pressing in to make a well.
Bake for 15 minutes or until cookie is golden. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. With tip of knife, remove cookie cups from muffin pan.
Place morsels in small, heavy-duty plastic bag. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute. Gently massage morsels until completely melted. Snip tiny corner from bag; drizzle melted morsels over cookies. Top each with 2 Hearts Gummies. ( I placed mine in a glass bowl to heat up. It worked just as good)
Chocolate Chip Cookie/Chocolate Heart Variation: Use chocolate chip cookie dough in place of sugar dough. Bake at 350° F for 12 to 15 minutes. After cooling, place one NESTLÉ CRUNCH or NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Chocolate Heart in each cup. Proceed with drizzle.
We made several plates to take to the neighbors as we can not eat all of these! But I did get a few into my belly. Yumm!
What Valentine’s Day Treats are you making?

SeaWorld in Orlando, FL invited my family to come and explore their new Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin with them. We took the family towards the end of winter break and let me tell you it was cold! Fun but cold…. Our first stop was the seal feeding area. I was surprised that the children got in to get a close up of the feeding. Usually this area is filled to the max.
This guy was hungry, let me tell you! He barked and barked and if you didn’t feed him he gave you the shoulder. It was fun to watch!
Antarctica: Empire of the Penguins was new for us. It was cool how it looked like you were in the snowy mountains.
They had a fun ride before you got to see the penguins. You could take the mild ride or the wild ride! My daughter and I took the mild ride and my son took the wild ride. The wild ride does twists and spins and looked like fun!
And after being frozen from Antarctica, my son wanted to go on the Journey to Atlantis. Which would have been fine on a warm day but it was chilly! The Journey to Atlantis is a ride where you will get wet! He went twice and had a lot of fun, but I don’t know how he could stand the wet chill.
We also to went and checked out the Manta Aquarium and the Shark Encounter. These are great because it’s like you’re in the water with the fish. The aquariums are all around you.
Then we just walked around and explored the rest. We went over to the kids area and Savannah got stuck up in the high ropes and this momma being afraid of heights, was not happy. Thankfully a man offered to get her down. Not sure where big brother was….
Overall we had a great time. Even my son, who was not excited about going, admitted he had fun when the day was over. 🙂
