I love having game night once a week with my family. I am always looking for fun yet unique games that my children would enjoy. One of my favorite sites to find unique family fun games is Winning Moves. The have so many classic and retro games that bring me back to my childhood days, and even my own parents childhood! I reviewed 3 different games from Winning Moves, and would love to tell you about them.

RUBIK’S® JUNIOR BEAR

The easy-to-grip Bear is much simpler than the original Rubik’s Cube and will entertain kids with every twist and turn! Think of it as a “training” cube. $12.95.

This is the cutest “Rubik’s Cube” I have even seen! I remember as a child trying to figure out the original one and having a tough time (who am I kidding, I still have a tough time). This one is perfect for little ones to try to figure out. My 5 year old son can spend an hour playing with this over and over again. My 8 year old is enjoying it as well! This would make a perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays!

THIS GAME IS BONKERS!™

Lets just say this game is exactly like the title, BONKERS!! My parents were down visiting from up north and they actually remember this fame from 1978! They had a lot of fun playing it with my husband, myself and their grandkids. My kids were excited to play an “Old” game as they call it. We had an hour of fun playing this game that was sometimes driving us Bonkers, but in a good way of course!

CLUE® CLASSIC EDITION

The suspects you know, in the mansion you remember, with the weapons you love! Yes, this is Classic Clue! $21.95.

I haven’t played CLUE since I was very young. I have been wanting to purchase this game for game nights, but haven’t been able to find the classic version in stores. I am so happy that I was able to review the classic version! My family has so much fun with this game, and we all get so excited while playing it.

I received some fun masks that I shared with my neighbor’s son, Hunter. (Yes, I have a Hunter too) This Hunter is 5 and he is one of Savannah’s best friends. They go to school together and love to play at the park.

The masks were a nice firm plastic. Not the cheap kind. Very durable and I can them lasting a long time! Hunter’s mom tested them for me and said he agreed that they were well made. Great gifts for pretend play. All the neighborhood boys took turns wearing them and had a great time!

Nestle Candy – Holiday Gift Guide

Candy is always around during the holidays. Well, It’s around year round at my house, but you know, more so during the holidays. There is so much you can do with it!! Of course, Nestle Candy is a favorite here!

Just plain eat it…Yumm!

Pack it into a stocking for a yummy Christmas Morning.

Box it up and give it as a gift…. I love these Monkey Crunch Bars!!

Or bake it!!

I made some delicious cookies, but I made it the easy way… I used already made sugar cookie dough and added the Crunch Jingles.

Don’t these Peanut Butter Cookies with Butterfinger Bells sound delicious!! Similar but different!

Santa’s Thumb Print Cookies

Recipe Type: Dessert

Prep time: 15 mins

Cook time: 7 mins

Total time: 22 mins

Ingredients

1 package (13 oz.) NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Jingles, unwrapped
3/4 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup granulated sugar (optional)

Instructions

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
BEAT peanut butter, brown sugar, butter and 1/2 cup granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour and baking soda.
SHAPE dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in 1 cup granulated sugar; place on ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press 1 Nestlé Jingle into center of each cookie (cookie will crack around edges). Cool cookies on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

I love highlighting green products. This time of year, why not green toys? Metamorphic Toys has some really cool toys, perfect for active, imaginative children.

You know how kids love to play in the boxes that toys come in instead of the toys? Well, mine loved to play in boxes. What a great green toy!

Well Metamorphic Toys want kids to play the eco-friendly way too! They have earned numerous awards from experts for innovation, quality, educational value, creativity and environmental responsibility.

We received one of Metamorphic Toys, The Maillbox & Eco-Art U-Stick’ems Kit. What a great project! It’s an art project and toy all in one!

It was easy to put together for me. SavThe Stickers are not really stickers. They look like them, but require glue to adhere to the box. This way stickers are not wasted. The stickers are also all black and white. So this requires the children to color them.
