Cool Green Products Review/Giveaway #3 (Up We Grow Book)

Cool product #1

Want to teach your little one about growing your own foods? Check out Up We Grow!

Up We Grow! is an informative and inspiring book highlighting the importance of small, local farms.

Beautiful and heartwarming photos invite children into the world of a small, co-operative farm over four seasons. Readers will get to know the hardworking farmers who plow, plant, compost, mulch, harvest and market fruits and vegetables, and care for animals.

Children will discover people of all ages and abilities working together to grow and share food, while protecting and respecting the land and animals we depend upon for our sustenance. Savannah loves looking at the pictures. There are pictures of fruits an d vegetables, chickens, cows and more. She’s a little too young to appreciate the book for what it really is. It’s intended for ages 4-7.

This book is written by Deborah Hodge and illustrated by Brian Harris and sells for $16.95.

See the end of this post for a giveaway of a copy of this book!

Cool product #2

These bags are made form recycled billboards! I heard of totes made from many different things but never billboards – so I had to check them out!

Boards2Bags creates stylish, unique totes and other products out of recycled, vinyl billboards
from Ralston Outdoor Advertising. These are made of thick vinyl material designed to withstand the elements. The one I received is very thick and very durable. Some of the totes I have are flimsy and break easily – not these!

Each product designed is a one-of-a-kind.

There are a ton of different water bottle companies out there. But they are not all the same.

U-Turn 2 Tap was born out of a need to provide products that are good for the body, the community and the planet.

Benefiting the body: U-Turn 2 Tap’s stainless steel water bottles are made from 304 grade 18/8 stainless steel that is always BPA and Phthalate free. The bottles are a safe, healthy alternative to the dangers of plastic toxins.

Benefiting the community: U-Turn 2 Tap contributes to programs that offer children the tools they need to create and experience art in all forms. With funding rapidly being stripped from the education system, it is our goal to ensure that programs for art and art therapy are supported.

Benefiting the planet: U-Turn 2 Tap’s stainless steel water bottles aim to stop the plastic water bottle frenzy that fills up our landfills and oceans. In the US alone, 60 million plastic bottles are hitting the landfills every single day!

* Each bottle is designed by an eco-artist and manufactured responsibly.
* U-Turn 2 Tap bottles are made from #304 food grade stainless steel and painted with non-toxic paints
* All bottles come with a stainless steel loop cap and a BPA-free sport cap.
* U-Turn 2 Tap is a member of 1% For Planet and is involved with projects promoting the value of art in communities
